Expanded microspheres are used to give Rebel a special finishing and obtain a highly velvety and refined appearance. As a result of wear, continued friction or rubbing on the surface of the fabric, it becomes even more appealing as microspheres expand and get slightly deformed to create a vintage effect. The surface is semi-matt, 'sugared', soft to the touch and is produced in a wide colour palette of 12 warm and cool shades in the two modular 5x15 and 10x10 sizes. The 3D Savoiardo 5x15 texture is instead made in all twelve colours and is inspired by the historical Canne Organo collection designed by Nino Caruso for Marazzi in the early 1970s. The texture has a slight breakthrough in the middle that emphasises its three-dimensionality and hand-made effect.
