GRETA - Upholstered leather chair with armrests _ Cattelan Italia
Cattelan Italia > Chair
The GRETA armchair is a modern, designer piece featuring a frame available in titanium (GFM11), bronze (GFM18), graphite (GFM69), pearl (GFM70), or black (GFM73) embossed lacquered steel, paired with a non-removable cover in fabric, micro nubuck, soft leather, or synthetic leather as per the sample card. Its standout design lies in the seamless integration of the seat and the wrap-around cushion, which connects the backrest to the armrests, creating a hollow structure that enhances comfort and is adorned with four stitches for a refined capitonné effect. The floating backrest, shaped like a curved, contoured cylinder, merges into upholstered armrests, offering both style and comfort. The chair’s three slender legs, made of metal tubes with an elliptical cross-section, are finished in textured varnish, complementing the wide range of fabric and leather options. The central leg at the back cleverly combines two legs into a single support, playing with the concept of solid and empty spaces, resulting in a harmonious design that exudes lightness and balance.
