Drawing her inspiration from the world of baking, designer Pia Chevalier imagined her mugs as a collection of sweet treats. The oversized handle emulates the shape of a doughnut, and the enamel finish gives the piece a sugar-glazed coating look. Taking the culinary analogy to the next level, each of the collection’s colours hints at different doughnut flavours: Lemon, Vanilla, Cherry, Blueberry, Bubble Gum, and Pistachio . The Pistachio mug is available exclusively on our website. Made in Portugal, the design of these ceramic mugs is grounded in craftsmanship. The hand-produced enamelling makes each piece unique. The thick texture echoes the voluptuousness of a doughnut, and the mug’s volume offers a generous 8cm-high countenance for tea, coffee, and other beverages. Read more

Three stories, three narratives, three patterns: Gaufrettes: inspired by the suppleness of fabric, it is one of the Crafties' signature pieces. Mosaïque: a tribute to Maison Picassiette, a house entirely made of mosaic fragments. Croisillon: inspired by cane weaving. Patterns used by the Crafties are indicative of a fascination for printing techniques found in micropublishing, in particular: risographs. The technique involves the application of successive layers (just one colour per layer) that are added atop each other to reveal the final pattern. With the design comes additional inspiration: textiles. Petite Friture and Constance Guisset, an inseparable duo with lofty ambitions, have started a new chapter of the Vertigo story with Vertigo Nova: a highly technical piece of sophisticated design. The vast veil of graphic lines mounted atop a sphere of handblown glass uses built-in LED technology to emit a soft light. A line that comes in black or white, for two subtly different moods: opalescent white on white, or ashen grey on black for the pinnacle of sophistication. In white, light bursts out of the globe bathing the room in luxuriant rays.
