This 3D surface tooling technique by Cadorin reproduces the multi-level pattern typical of bark. It also helps make the wood particularly strong and compact, thus increasing the ability of the surface to withstand heavy footfall. CORTEC, just like the other tooling techniques used for the Tracks collection, can be applied to wood flooring strips and planks for horizontal laying (flooring) and vertical fitting (wall panelling). The texture CORTEC can be further customised using a variety of finishes and colours: Gold or Mother-of-pearl finishes to give the surface shine and a truly exclusive look; a huge choice of shades from the Cadorin collections, from white to sugar paper or wengé black.
