At first glance, Vetra could be no more than a traditional, old-fashioned, blown-glass lamp, but turning it on yields a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a completely closed glass diffuser as a reflector, and creatively places the light source outside -instead of inside- the shade. Technical fabrics, produced by recycling PET bottles and which can be safely recycled in turn. A fabric that stands out for its ability to absorb sound, but also has other qualities: it has excellent resistance to abrasion and rubbing, is designed for use in public environments so it has high resistance to fire and also to exposure to light.
