The design process for ColourForm Sofa Group began with an exploration of color palettes by founders Carole Baijings and Stefan Scholten, who then sculpted minimal forms that would highlight the colors and details. The exposed wood components are softly tinted in custom stains developed specifically to complement their fresh textile palette. Scholten & Baijings collaborated with leading textiles supplier Maharam to create two upholstery fabrics for ColourForm: Pare and Tracery.
