Il est néanmoins recommandé d’essuyer les liquides renversés le plus rapidement possible, sans quoi ils risquent d’attaquer et d’endommager la couche de protection. Au besoin, les surfaces vernies peuvent être nettoyées (sans additifs de blanchiment) avec de l’eau en ajoutant un peu de liquide vaisselle neutre (sans colorant).
