Spider Chair The AVL Spider Chair is first and foremost a functional chair, which was made using the traditional carpenters’ methods: without screws. It’s wooden, light-weight frame resembles that of a spiders’ physique. The AVL spider chair fulfilled a latent need as there were few fully wood stackable chairs available on the market and Lensvelt acquired none in the collection. It took four years for Lieshout and Lensvelt to perfect the model as it was ultimately completed in 2016. The initial version was made for the Milano Design Week 2012. The final version was a straight and robust copy that carried both the Lieshout Atelier and Lensvelt DNA, connecting visions on pure craftsmanship as it forcefully denies the dry, technical and emotionless methods used in modern day design.

THIS Chair 141 Polypropylene This 141 Chair has a seat made of the thinnest material possible and a base of extremely fine chrome wires. The chair is super-lightweight due to the minimal use of material. The beveled seat is polypropylene, felt or upholstered in a variety of fabrics. Together with an ergonomist, Richard Hutten did extensive research into the optimal form of the seat. As a result, it has become a chair on which you can sit comfortably for hours. This 141 Chair is stackable and a mobile trolley is also optionally available. Frame is available in different colors.

When Hans Lensvelt approached Piet Hein Eek to develop a product for the Lensvelt Collection, he presented a diverse set of drawings. The ‘Made in The Workshop Chair’, was the prelude, the chair was then altered, adjusted and further developed.

Studio Job Parquet Carpet The Parquet Job Carpet by Studio Job features a darker design easily adaptable in different styles of interior. The pop of gold is what completes the look of the carpet, giving it an amusing twist. The lively pattern is inspired by tree trunks and their symbolic value, as the carpet was designed for the Runway of the A/W 2013 collection for the Dutch fashion house Viktor & Rolf. Subsequently, the carpet was utilized for a dance performance called: Dutch Dance Doubles. The National Ballet released four world premieres in which choreographers could collaborate with world-famous Dutch artists. Studio Job creates spectacular pieces of work discovering the notions between art and design.

Inspired by a James Bond movie from the 1970s, Nina bought her own classic tapestry called “The Boar Hunt” from 1620 to hang up in her apartment. This was the catalyst for “Miss Nina” curated for Lensvelt, a classic rug yet still relevant to the zeitgeist of today. The rug is abstract and colorful with a bold brown-orange festoon statement edge. This rug is explicitly designed to be hung on the wall but naturally can be used for on the floor. The benefits of rugs as wall pieces positively affects inside acoustics and keeps in warmth which can be seen as environmental benefit. However, chosen to be used, Miss Nina creates a pleasant, cozy and calm atmosphere in both rooms and office environments.

All chairs are sophisticated, comfortable and timeless design pieces. The Gispen collection is produced in the Netherlands using modern techniques, but retaining original design. They can be used in office, at a dining table or simply as a statement design piece. Slight differentiations in this collection adhere to the backrest, use of armrests and various colors of upholstery. Willem Hendrik Gispen and his cousin Ru Meijer co-founded the furniture wholesale company Kembo in 1953. Lensvelt invested and bought Kembo in 2014. Now the company has re-announced seven classics from W.H. Gispen to be included in the standard collection by the name "W.H. Gispen from Kembo by Lensvelt… with love ". The collection entails five chairs and two armchairs designed by Willem Hendrik Gispen (1890-1981), that were part of Kembo's previous collection. The seven models date back from the 1950s. Hans Lensvelt calls them “Evergreens”. Lensvelt proclaims “ the aesthetic quality of these chairs are exceptional. Having said that, the designs also fit flawlessly in today's interiors . ”

D-chair 101 The Lensvelt D-Chair is distinguished by its slim frame, which supports the separate backrest and seat. The legs of the frame are intended to evoke the slender limb of insects. On the backrest, the frame folds outwards and protrudes from the chair to form a handle and/or a coat hanger integrated within the frame design. The D-Chair is a timeless, contemporary chair with a quirky joke, adhering to both affordability and comfort. The chair was initially launched in 2017 and developed by …,staat for the purpose of a large-scale hospitality project for desks at hotel rooms. Lensvelt mentions that it was ...,staat's ambition for the design to "define the whole interior".

Bucket Chair Lensvelt asked Richard Hutten to design the most sustainable and comfortable bucket chair out there. The expectations were for Richard to design an aluminum mechanism that automatically adjusts to one’s body weight - a complex product. Nevertheless, Richard came up with a much more intelligent solution: an assembly by only using a fairing and a frame connected with four screws. The chair is made of the same plastic that car bumpers are made of. This allows for the Bucket Chair to remain infinitely flexible. Richard positioned the mounting points on the frame in such a way that the shell moves with your body. Additionally, the chair is also easy to disassemble. If the tub or frame should ever break, it is easy to replace.

Shaker Series Atelier van Lieshout was commissioned to make a mobile art lab by The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. AVL had then created a triptych structure composed of a trailer, a house and an extension. In which to Joep van Lieshouts artistic idea the Una Bomber could inhabit, a prototype terrorist who survived alone in the forest and recycled materials to manufacture his bombs. AVL took on the task, with one condition: to add a darker side to the museum’s good intentions. The result was The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. After the creation of the art lab, AVL quickly needed furniture to present the house, that is where the idea of the shaker series came to life. Lensvelt took liking to the Shaker Series and decided to add this to their collection. The Shakers are a religious community from England that lived in the Northern parts of the USA from the end of the eighteenth century. They were known for their simple living, architecture, technological innovations and furniture. The Shaker Series consists of a chair, a table and a bar stool that pays homage to the shakers that signify timeless, modern classics exceeding the notions of their time.
