Description
Bachtenkirch is a cast iron wall hook. It seems to grow out of the wall and remains unagitatedly patent with the possibility of accommodating only one coat rack. Due to its cast iron manufacture, it appears exceptionally robust as a small hook. In its swivelling version, it has a very special surprise in store. Hardly comprehensible, it gives every wall a quiet dynamism, as each hook is always positioned slightly differently depending on the user. Produced as pew hooks by Wilhelm Bachtenkirch (1895 – 2003) until Iserlohner Haken took over. Other products went into export, wholesale or the East Westphalian furniture industry.Available in the following finishes: Burnished/old brass, Silver nickel-plated or Black.
