Description: Santa Barbara ceramic tile collection evokes the California landscape, with a combination of vivid and subtle colors offset by neutrals and matte finishes. It is this combination of mattes and gloss finishes in a vast array of colors that our Santa Barbara ceramic tile becomes rich, vibrantly alive, and harmonious. Our ceramic tile is handcrafted and decorated by hand using an ancient method called Cuerda Seca that literally translates to dry cord. This technique has been used for centuries in Spain and other Mediterranean countries. The depth and richness of the colors are obtained by painstakingly applying every single drop of glaze by hand onto a delineated design. Recommended Use: All interiors of residential and commercial wall applications. Light-use residential flooring as accents or as a border to define an area. Outdoor use in areas where freezing temperatures are not common. Tiles are not frost proof. Moist areas where tiles are not submerged in water. Gloss glazes are recommended for these installations since matte glazes may be subject to discoloration. Tiles and grout must be sealed with a penetrating sealer that will form an invisible barrier resistant to moisture and stains. FONTANA LARGE

FONTANA LARGE - Table lamp by Fontana Arte

Fontana Arte > Table lamp

Designed in 1954 by the famous French Master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand, this lamp was originally named 1853 and, at a later time, Fontana, in homage to the company of which the Master was Artistic Director for a decade. For design enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the brand’s history, 1853 still remains as a sort of nickname. The first symbol of timeless object of design, still today best seller and evergreen design icon, Fontana is the abat-jour par excellence. The peculiarity of Fontana is its multiple light sources: both the base and the lampshade contain one or more. The larger version also allows indirect lighting, thanks to an additional source that projects a beam of indirect light upwards. The differentiated light sources make it possible to satisfy different lighting needs: from a soft, relaxing glow to a sharp beam for reading to suggestive ambient light. Available also with Led light sources. A fabulous lamp in frosted white blown glass, already riedited in a total black variant, it is now proposed in a colored and brand new version - light grey and purple amethyst - to reinforce the contemporaneity of the project. “Light and colour are centrainly the most specific elements in nature. With them we have RELIEF, MOTION, LIFE” stated Max Ingrand. “Actually the history of architecture tells us what was the role of illuminated, opaque, translucent colour in interior and exterior architecture (…)Light was no longer just a means to breathe life into colour but became a means to breathe life into an entire architecture.”

There is no guarantee that tiles ordered as add-ons will match those from the original orders. Specifications Texture: Smooth Finish: Matte Body: Red Bisque Thickness: 1/4 in. Variation: V3 - Moderate Variation Grout: Sanded grout if joint is greater than 1/4 in. orNon-sanded grout if joint is less than 1/4 in. It is recommended to revise measurements and tile quantities with an expert installer. Care and Considerations: Clean with mild cleanser and damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners. Some glazes such as matte colors are acid sensitive. Do not use cleaners with an acid base since these may cause discoloration.
