Archimede is a Laptop Caddy designed by the architect Leonardo Rossano with two oak veneer wood tabletops or methacrylate polymer and a structure in mat chrome steel. The “genial” workstation on wheels adjusts from sitting to standing height, and the mouse tray can be positioned on left or right. The two tabletops are independently adjustable, each with several inclinations and heights to fit any situation, whether on foot or seated on a sofa, chair or bed. The project takes its inspiration from the concept of our memory, reimagining simple and iconic forms with echoes from the past. Central to the design is the upright hexagonal structure typically used in building construction that, in this particular context, is interpreted as a joint onto which the feet are attached perpendicularly. This style detail is reminiscent of 1950’s furniture design. The base of the table is painted finished metallic wire drawn.

These naturally composed tables complement the collection's choice of seats and create a sustainable living area in which wood plays a central role thanks to its lightweight properties. These large items of furniture feature top-quality materials and advanced manufacturing technology. The square and rectangular versions with four legs come in five sizes (100x100, 145x80, 160x90, 190x90 and 240x100) and three top finishes: light ash with two darker shades, flamed walnut and a third, characterised by thin strips of different tones of dark wood.
