The staircase is a precious architectural element: often today it has no longer the only function of connecting one floor of the dwelling to another, but it becomes an object of study by architects, in order to become as flashy as possible. For Cadorin, covering the staircase with the same wood species and finish chosen for the parquet, in order to create a continuum between the floor and the staircase, is a daily occurrence. Many people may not know that, when choosing how to cover the stairs with Cadorin parquet, they can opt for different solutions. That because the Company studies everything in each single detail and the elements used to cover the steps – the bull edge, the riser, the tread, the edge of the staircase, the finishing edge, etc. – can be made differently, changing and diversifying the aesthetics of the staircase itself.

It’s easy to keep your floors covering entire walls: just use jointed boards like the 2 or 3 hardwood layers planks. Since long time the Cadorin hardwood planks are used as walls, wardrobes, doors, room dividers, coverings… During the last edition of Made Expo in Milan of the last October, Cadorin presented the new design of Wall parquet. It’s tailor made planks to be placed both horizontally and vertically in multiple modules, so as to do assemblies with unique drawings. The planks, in fact, can cover the wall horizontally or vertically using the same finish of the wood floor or choosing in the several collections of different Cadorin lines, like Elite Planks, Tracks Planks, Epoch Planks or Pregio woods. In this last case, it’s possible then having fun to coordinate and match the various solutions.

Brushed, Whitewashed, Antiqued, Natural Oiled “Natur” larch parquet floor by nature, particularly of Austrian origin for its grain and knots. Presented as planking in aged, Whitewashed and natural oiled finish, which brings out the changes in the wood’s color, creating flooring full of character. (Traditionally called BLEACHED, wood finishes are technically made using varnishes that contain white pigment whitewashed) A “healthy” European wood, from forests committed to proper regrowth, combined with production safety and in compliance with health. Parquet planks made from two or three-layers hardwood. Also available from within the SELECT line, a selection WITHOUT KNOTS, combining the warmth of wood with the clean lines of the Larch. Moreover, unlike traditional finishes used in the Larch, which over time become very reddish due to the natural maturation of the wood when exposed to light and air, this Whitewashed and antiqued oiled finish does not acquire this red tone. This finish matures by developing grey-antiqued shades as shown here in the photos.

Since long time the Cadorin hardwood planks are used as walls, wardrobes, doors, room dividers, coverings… During the last edition of Made Expo in Milan of the last October, Cadorin presented the new design of Wall parquet. It’s tailor made planks to be placed both horizontally and vertically in multiple modules, so as to do assemblies with unique drawings. In this evocative setting, the elm wood comes from the Casera Elm selection, a collection that includes a native, non-cultivated wood, grown spontaneously in European forests. This wood contains the power of wild nature and, at the same time, echoes a familiar landscape. Almost a tamed beauty, warm and reassuring. Characterized by a varied grain, with warm and light tones that flow into shades ranging from honey to sweet tobacco, Casera Elm presents a vibrant texture that alternates compact areas with light flame-like patterns, which generate a natural brightness: conceived as an active part of the spatial composition, the Casera Elm surface welcomes and amplifies the visual narrative of the inlay. With vibrant force, from the surface emerges a field of poppies, an image of beauty that looms with disarming sincerity, overwhelming and ephemeral. The poppies, made with a reddish wood, mahogany and teak, complementary in colour and density, were precisely engraved using high-definition laser technology. In this piece, the elm surface becomes matter that speaks, capable of generating a beautiful dialogue between nature, memory, and design. The result is an intense composition, where every detail – from the irregular grain to the material choice of the inlays – contributes to the definition of an inner landscape. A creative project, Poetry of the Elm and Poppies, that does not seek effect, but the experience of presence, where the surface tells a story and the space evokes emotion.

A rhythmic, tactile, and precious elegance A refined cladding in walnut planks, on random-length installation, staggered and in multirelief ideal for wall coverings, boiserie, ceilings, or furniture. The essence of the project, based on WALNUT, is the “Tatami” texture and the “Bronze Powder” finish. Tatami, registered as a European Design, is inspired by the rice straw mats of Japanese interiors, recreated by CADORIN through fine, evenly spaced grains – a light pattern that crosses space, generating a delicate tactile effect with an aesthetic result of great balance. In it coexist geometric precision and the subtlety of tactile detail, in an aesthetic that does not seek display, but depth and harmony. The alternating texture in low-relief over brushed surfaces is made contemporary by the Bronze Powder, a finish from the Cadorin Gold collections, which adds warm and vibrant yet soft and sophisticated metallic reflections, capable of enhancing every variation of light on the natural wood grain.

The idea behind this project is simple yet powerful: if a series of Dots is arranged along a grid or curved path and their spacing is progressively modified, a sense of fluidity is generated that creates a visual rhythm. This is the heart of the Dots project, born from the creative research of Nicola Mihailovic, who has always been engaged in the theme of perceptual design, aimed at exploring the relationship between space and its perception. Walnut, thanks to its grain and vein pattern, creates significant chromatic variations that result across the entire panel in an alternation of shadowed areas — which amplify the engraving effect — and lighter areas, which visually expand the space.

At the heart of XNODO is an engineered structure that enables articulated installation, capable of precisely adapting to non-linear surfaces and following architecture in all its forms. The system allows the cladding of complex geometries and volumes—curved, irregular, and articulated surfaces—such as pillars with varying radii, fluid shapes, ceilings, and undulating walls, ensuring 360° aesthetic continuity and material quality. A distinctive feature of the system is its complete integration with the Cadorin aesthetic universe: XNODO can be developed in all of the company’s decorations—wood species, finishes, textures, patterns, and colors—offering exceptional design freedom. The wooden slat is thus freed from the constraint of flatness, transforming into a dynamic material capable of accompanying the project in all its expressions. This solution opens up new compositional possibilities for designers and architects, enabling the development of bespoke cladding solutions perfectly adaptable to project requirements, without compromising technical precision and aesthetic quality. An additional distinctive value lies in the possibility of creating material continuity between floors and wall coverings: the same finishes can be extended to vertical and three-dimensional surfaces, generating cohesive, immersive environments with a strong identity. The May Rose Boiserie is dedicated to the flower par excellence. Created to add a touch of sophisticated elegance to the surrounding walls, adorning them with precious treasure, the boiserie is composed of a carbon-coloured Walnut structure, enriched and embellished by an upper and lower extent which, in the play of two-dimensionality, add an allure of prestige to the environment they beautify. The upper extent in dark walnut tones features an elegant decorative motif of roses in platinum powder. Sinuous and enveloping, the roses give the wall an intense glow, exuding a contemporary mood. In a play of contrasts, the woodwork – precisely and harmoniously carved out and combined with the platinum colour of the roses – enhances the perfect, modern beauty of the compositional rhythm of the entire composition. In addition to the Platinum powder colour, Cadorin also offers an alternative colour solution in Copper dust, being warm and pervasive for a result of opulent elegance. The lower part of the woodwork consists of four panels made from the warm, dark tones of African Wenge. The panels acquire tactility and three-dimensional relief in the original TATAMI texture, inspired by the weave of the famous Japanese rice-straw carpet, thus creating an authentic surface of wood in relief whilst providing an extremely pleasant feel. A perfect wall cladding or boiserie that can be varied for made-to-measure and customised proposals.

Skinì TEX the partition with an absorbing function is a reinterpretation of the ancient concept of the partition that allows space to be divided and remodeled in a novel and innovative way, also pandering to acoustic comfort needs. With Skinì TEX there is no need for walls, to be covered or on which to attach sound-absorbing panels, but just it, a screen that can be conveniently transported and reconfigured with a few gestures. With Skinì TEX it is therefore possible to create a new space in which acoustic quality is also enhanced: two goals achieved with a single product. Skinì TEX comes in a wide variety of colors thanks to the soft fabrics used to cover the Skins, thermoformed in polyester and coupled with FIDIVI - ONE fabrics.
