The staircase is a precious architectural element: often today it has no longer the only function of connecting one floor of the dwelling to another, but it becomes an object of study by architects, in order to become as flashy as possible. For Cadorin, covering the staircase with the same wood species and finish chosen for the parquet, in order to create a continuum between the floor and the staircase, is a daily occurrence. Many people may not know that, when choosing how to cover the stairs with Cadorin parquet, they can opt for different solutions. That because the Company studies everything in each single detail and the elements used to cover the steps – the bull edge, the riser, the tread, the edge of the staircase, the finishing edge, etc. – can be made differently, changing and diversifying the aesthetics of the staircase itself.

It’s easy to keep your floors covering entire walls: just use jointed boards like the 2 or 3 hardwood layers planks. Since long time the Cadorin hardwood planks are used as walls, wardrobes, doors, room dividers, coverings… During the last edition of Made Expo in Milan of the last October, Cadorin presented the new design of Wall parquet. It’s tailor made planks to be placed both horizontally and vertically in multiple modules, so as to do assemblies with unique drawings. The planks, in fact, can cover the wall horizontally or vertically using the same finish of the wood floor or choosing in the several collections of different Cadorin lines, like Elite Planks, Tracks Planks, Epoch Planks or Pregio woods. In this last case, it’s possible then having fun to coordinate and match the various solutions.

Both are handcrafted masterpieces, made entirely by hand by master Delfino Cadorin, the creator of this collection designed by his daughter Rita Cadorin The TOMI de LEGN books are made with a WALNUT cover, a bark finish and FIR WOOD pages. Each piece is unique and signed by Cadorin. Together with the Italian quality certificate, a product identification and creation booklet is also issued. Freestanding structure that can be used as a partition or a wall bookcase. ANTOS is a composition with clean, essential geometric lines. Horizontal strips made of American walnut with a carbon tone are crossed, like a vertical garden, by strips that captivate with the delicate green of their surfaces on which a carpet of engraved daisies runs, like a huge lawn. The composition is made in 130 cm modules for a height of 270 to 300 cm. The result is a multifunctional product with great aesthetic appeal and a strong decorative character that can take centre stage in the living space, home or professional studio.

MÉRIDIENNE DE TOE is the result of the joining of two large planks – “toe” in Veneto dialect can mean also “plank”– of Old Walnut (or “Noghera” as they say in Veneto), a wood with a spectacularly natural color. All by itself, Walnut brings us infinite shades of red, ruddy rusty hue, even a grayish light brown. Like all the other pieces in the Toc de Toe Collection, the large planks shaped and scarred by the hands of time are ably worked in the skilled hands of master craftsmen into deck chairs distinguished by both innovative design and antique feel. Soft, lozenge-shaped maxicushions upholstered in lino froisè, make the relaxation complete. As in the rest of the Collection, the nomenclature of this décor element incorporates local Veneto dialect that emphasizes both the authenticity of the material and the close bond Cadorin maintains with its territory. “MÉRIDIENNE DE TOE” means “deck chair made of boards”, the perfect name for this chaise longue.

The structure of the chair SINGLE WOOD (A) is made in steel, 60/10 thickness. The upper part of the seat and of the backrest is made in exotic wood, 30 mm thick. The backrest and the seat have geometric figures, shaped with a three-dimensional pantograph. The backrest and the seat are fixed to 2 strong elements in steel (60/10 thickness) through specific bolts. On the base of the chair there are 4 holes (11 mm diam.) for the fixing to the ground through specific bolts (not provided). This product is entirely made in Italy from steel subjected to an electrolytic galvanising cycle and subsequently painted with PP powders with Ral colour of your choice. The texture proposal is achieved by imprinting into the wood, like live sketches, the delicate flight of soft dandelion puffs moved by the wind, offering soft natural textures for a serene, emotionally-impactful well-being effect. The three-dimensional and material texture, in addition to composing refined details, achieves a hard and compact wood with particular resistance to foot traffic and an anti-slip function thanks to the embossed surface processing. Kimono

KIMONO originates from the observation of an ancient symbol: the wave pattern of Japanese tradition known as Seigaiha. A sequence of forms that has traversed centuries of art, textiles, and objects within Japanese culture, evoking continuity, balance, and movement. This simple yet powerful sign becomes the starting point of the project. The research behind KIMONO was developed within the 57-metre full custom yacht “Setteesettanta” by the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, where the themes of surface, rhythm, and material were explored as an integral part of the interior architecture. The first prototypes and the initial application of the flooring were developed exclusively for this project, representing a moment of experimentation and design synthesis. In the design of the wooden flooring, the rhythm of the waves is reinterpreted as a surface capable of shaping space through repetition, transforming a traditional pattern into a contemporary architectural language. The sea represents the primary source of inspiration. Its waves, with their slow and constant motion, suggest a visual rhythm that naturally expands across the surface, generating a sense of harmony and continuity. Alongside this dimension, a second symbolic reference emerges: the koi. In Japanese culture, it is associated with strength and perseverance, capable of swimming upstream with energy and determination.
