Two crêpe-effect voiles, where the lightness and transparency of the voile owing to the use of fine yarn contradicts with the profoundly textured force. The fine thread, which has an almost silken consistency, is enriched with movement with a ruffle which bestows the textile with immediately recognisable expressiveness, boasting textured transparency. A luminous iridescent jacquard. The uneven fabric ground derives from two differently coloured silk weft yarns and a warp combining fine silk yarns with a more rustic yarn in linen. The motif of oriental inspiration has the characteristically blurred contours of an ikat fabric.

The subtle ripple of the slubs — livelier than a plain yet more discreet than a pattern — contrasts with the rhythm of the twill weave structure. The resulting fabric is of a subtle nature, created for projects that offset neutral colours with a gentle expressiveness. The hand-spun silk weft threads encounter the warp of the weave on a hand loom. Method and chance work together to create a lively movement of tonal variations and different densities: unexpectedness defines the pattern. Suitable for curtains and decorative applications. Linen Shibumi

Yarn dyed, extra-wide, jacquard linen fabric with a threedimensional effect. Its lightness is obtained from a finishing process that dissolves in hot water the resin present on the warp filament, softening the fabric.

Nicomaco

An irregular jacquard with the mere hint of a geometric motif. A symbolic textile expression of the early twentieth century, it marries the use of wild, raw katia silk with the contemporary tradition. The hand weaving process alternately combines a lustrous white viscose yarn with an undyed textural silk yarn, in two bulky weft threads that switch from one colour to another. Suitable for curtains.

Lucanthe

Delicate metallic inserts cut through a textural leno weave voile in wool and linen, with a bulky drape, which enables the light to filter through freely. Twill – a diagonal weave typical of many traditional tailoring fabrics, is woven in extra width. Natural looking, thanks to a special finishing process, it hangs elegantly and softly but with extreme precision. Fire retardant, washable and crease resistant. The article is presented in 5 variants whose mélange effect is more or less pronounced. Solution dyeing guarantees greater light fastness.
