Description

From the archives of legendary textile artist, engraver and painter Paule Marrot (1902-1987) comes this beautiful, wide-ranging collection of digitally re-mastered prints. Working primarily from 1920-1960, her rich colors and striking geometry put her at the heart of the Art Deco movement. Influenced by Renoir and writer Marcel Proust, Marrot captured the natural world in a simple, lyrical style that makes her work as engaging and contemporary today as it was during the height of her popularity. Each work of art is hand-curated and framed using a linen liner and wood frame and printed on rich, archival rag paper. Not eligible for discount.

The BREAK table by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba is an exquisite blend of form and function, embodying the essence of modern design with a touch of elegance. Crafted from high-quality materials, this modular rectangular table features an Etna lava stone surface that elegantly showcases a chequerboard pattern, creating a striking visual impact. The base consists of two decorative elements—one opaque and one transparent—that alternate in a sophisticated manner, adding depth to the design. The construction is meticulously designed with legs made from wood and metal, which not only provide structural support but also contribute to its minimalist yet captivating appearance. This composition evokes the charm of fusuma panels used in traditional Japanese architecture for room separation, creating an immersive experience that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. Design features include a versatile modular design that can be arranged in various configurations, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The BREAK table is ideal for contemporary living rooms, dining areas, or as a focal point in open-plan living environments where flexibility is key. Its robust yet lightweight construction ensures durability while maintaining an elegant presence. For those who wish to maintain the beauty of this piece over time, proper care tips are essential. Regular cleaning with a mild detergent and water should suffice for daily maintenance. Periodic sealing can help protect against stains and weathering effects. Additionally, placing it in a sheltered area away from direct sunlight will prevent any discoloration or fading. The BREAK table by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba is not only a testament to the designers' innovative approach but also an embodiment of timeless design that seamlessly integrates functionality with style. Its modular nature allows for endless possibilities in space planning, making it a versatile addition to any home or commercial setting.
