Flia

The Flia family of outdoor floor lamps stands out for its ability to combine technological aspects with rigorous expressive forms. The miniaturization of the light source is a key factor of the project. The carbon stem is supported by a cylinder that contains the core elements and grants the lamp strength, lightness and flexibility. Flia is available in a single configuration – with three different heights – or multiples – with 2 or 3 stems – and can be attached to floors and decks, or directly on the ground.

Fienile outdoor

Fienile is also available in floor lamp versions for outdoor use, based on the same design inspired by the iconic rural buildings of Norway. Fienile Outdoor is a work of micro-architecture, with its walls and pitched roof extruded in a single, solid block of coated aluminium, while the diffuser is in polycarbonate. The outdoor version of Fienile comes in two heights, 32 or 72 cm, and two colors: pale and dark gray. Thanks to its essential design, Fienile Outdoor fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape and architectural context. The characteristic angled roof, besides being a clear reference to the archetypal form of the house, contributes to screen the light and spread it uniformly on the ground.

The wireless version of Mesh offer users total freedom of lighting control. Available for the suspension versions large (Ø 100) and medium (Ø 80), Mesh Wireless is equipped with a sophisticated electronic board allowing users to interact with the lamp by means of a smart device. Luceplan has developed a special App (for iOS and Android) that makes it possible to control single or multiple units, individually or as a group. The Mesh App permits use of one or more light points at a time, orienting light in space to create different moods and experiences. The App can be programmed with 6 presets for rapid activation. It is also possible to set up a dynamic scenario with a simple touch of the screen. Using a local Internet connection, on-off functions can be programmed in remote access mode.

The reflector is a felt cap (60% recycled) which not only has an important decorative role, but also allows increased acoustic comfort in the vicinity by reducing the time of sound reverberation. An aluminium portion inside covers the surfaces and contributes on one hand to holding the felt in place, and on the other hand to dispersing the heat of the light source.

The lamp provides light directed upward and downward, thanks to great freedom of movement, permitting rotation of 360 degrees. It is possible to connect up to four suspension lamps (for Europe version) or two suspension lamp (for Americas version) with a single power cord, conserving the rotation of each unit.

The design language of Daniel Rybakken returns to its reliance on the intrinsic power of basic geometric forms, turning this time to the symbol of harmony par excellence: the circle. An extension of the Compendium family, Circle is a lamp with a poetic nature and an essential design, whose lightness is sustained by LED technology, installed to permit direct emission when pointed downward, or diffused light when aimed upward. It is also possible to combine up to three rings of different diameters to give rise to different configurations and luminous scenarios of great visual impact.

Amisol

The Amisol project is about making a pendant light that occupies a large physical space with a minimal physical volume, for easy orientation in space. A translucent white fi lm or a metallized mirror membrane is stretched inside a circular aluminium profile. Like a solar sail, an incredibly powerful light source projects a beam of light onto the large, almost weightless disk, either diffusing or reflecting the light. Thin rods connect the two main elements together. By altering the length and the connecting points of the two supporting wires the rotation of the disk can be set in any angle.

Across is a versatile and dynamic lamp, ready to personalize any space, “crossing” it with a clear, distinctive graphic gesture. A linear suspension lamp composed of three interconnected axes of two different sizes, to create compositions with different images and levels of complexity. The structure is formed by a horizontal extruded body that contains an optical group for direct lighting, and two hinged elements that make it possible to attach the lamp to the wall or the ceiling. The lamp’s adaptability gives rise to various configurations to respond to different technical and stylistic needs.

Millimetro

Halfway between a pendant and a ceiling lamp, Millimetro is composed of a very thin reflecting circular disk (1 mm thickness) and warm, enveloping light directed upward from below. The upper cap is attached to a stem that supports the metal disk with a mirror finish. The LED light source, concealed behind the disk, provides a diffused, uniform glow. To respond to various installation requirements, it is possible to choose from four different lengths for the stem that connects the body of the lamp to the ceiling attachment.

Inspiration drawn from Tibetan carpets which were discovered in the West during the seventies, were used to complete important artistic and design research. A fascinating jacquard design as it is open to subjective "imaginative" interpretation, with magical tigers, curious guardians of many mysteries and a map featuring unknown places. A second product, in velvet, is based upon the same design. The construction boasts liseré with warp achieved using two warp beams. The second warp, with the two colours and lurex yarn serves to create specific light refraction which complements the unique and prestigious character of the tussah silk. Ambrosia is essentially a line of light that can be converted into a modular system, capable of extending the illumination it offers to adapt to any space. A design that recovers and revisits the tube light, timeless, and updates it so that its simple structure and diffuse lighting add beauty to any space. This collection expands on its possibilities by proposing a change in the plane of light, from horizontal to vertical.This new style of lamp is available in two versions, both of which are pendant lamps. First there is the Ambrosia V, a 235-cm-high vertical structure consisting of two tubes of light of different lengths. An interrupted line of light, a detail that brings lightness and character to the lamp. Its design allows you to choose the lighting, either towards the wall for indirect light, or towards the main space for direct light. This aesthetic and functional design also works well in domestic settings. The other vertical version, Ambrosia V, joins three light tubes placed at different heights, forming a sculptural ensemble. This option can provide a great deal of light and therefore comes with a dimming system for easy lighting control. It is available in two heights of 130 and 175 cm. Both sizes can be electrically connected through the ceiling rosette or the floor plug. The new Ambrosia allows you to create vertical lighting compositions, combining different sizes in repetition to illuminate large spaces. When installed individually, it fills the space with light and warmth. Its slender design sets the perfect scene in any room. A totally new perspective for this flexible lighting system, which achieves maximum light expression with a minimalist structure. The metal structure is available in two finishes – black and matte gold – and the light source in three colour temperatures: 2200 K, 2700 K and 3000 K.          

Funiculí

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities. It is no longer only available in the neutrals moss grey, black and off-white. The new colours – green, terracotta and mustard – are intense. They are design statements, highlighting the shapes of the Funiculí and bringing chromaticism to the space. The new shades are cheerful and vivid, conveying that colour can also be essential.
