In 2021, the studio was looking for a follow-up to the VOLUMES vases, but this time made from glass and solely made for flowers. With SHAPES, Studio Piet Boon created 3 elegant and serene vases, each made of completely mouth-blown glass. These objects have an aesthetic value, but also do not demand too much attention when filled with a bouquet of flowers. Japanese design and nature served as sources of inspiration.

For this collection of five vases we played with the different thicknesses and heights that we always saw reappearing in commercial vases. By experimenting with them, volumes of different heights have been created at the top. These volumes have an important function: they keep the flowers in the right place.

KEKKE lounge chair

More comfort. More balance. The KEKKE lounge chair offers the perfect way to enjoy long, relaxed days and nights at home. The design is based on the existing KEKKE dining chair but is more expansive, which means it’s more comfortable, as well. The chair is lower to the ground and features a tilted seat upholstered in soft leather. A loose back cushion is included for extra comfort and style. The design can be paired with the KEKKE ottoman. Both models feature thicker, powder-coated steel frames.

In following of the BELLE dining chair, Studio Piet Boon designed another rounded low seater. JANE was named after two Michelin-star restaurant The Jane in Antwerp, as the studio initially designed the chair for the restaurant during the refit of its award-winning interior. Its cylinder shape, fluid lining and overlapping elements give JANE its accessible and distinct character. The sociable shape of the JANE invites for multidirectional seating, making it easy to combine JANE with other pieces of furniture.

The natural evolution of the Cap Chair presented at the 2013 Salone del Mobile, the Cap Chair 2 by Jasper Morrison is completely upholstered with leather, even on the sides. A truly sartorial product, with a fresh yet understated design, this seat comes in two versions – high and low-lying – with self-locking spherical wheels that allow it to be used around standard managerial tables or slightly lower tables, thereby transforming classic conference rooms into authentic meeting lounges.

The Taula table collection is inspired by the monumental stone structures of Menorca and Mallorca in the Mediterranean, reimagined by designer Patricia Urquiola into a series of innovative dining tables that celebrate the tactile qualities of natural stone. Each piece features soft, sinuous forms crafted from marble and limestone, seamlessly integrated with an ingenious metal support system. This design not only defies conventional perceptions but also creates the illusion of a floating top, suspended above sturdy legs, thanks to meticulous research into form and perspective. The Taula collection comprises six striking dining tables in various styles: rectangular variants featuring Crema d’Orcia, Pietra d’Avola, and a combination of Bianco Carrara with legs made from sandblasted Pietra d’Avola. Additionally, square-shaped pieces are available in Bianco Carrara, Gris du Marais®, and Bianco Carrara paired with sandblasted Verde Alpi. The Taula tables have been treated with a neutral sealer that not only protects them from staining but also makes them suitable for food-related use. However, it is important to note that natural stone will retain some level of absorption; therefore, products containing high levels of acid, fat, or oil should never be placed on these surfaces. Any spills should be wiped off immediately to prevent damage. For optimal care and longevity, it is recommended to clean the Taula tables with a soft cloth using mild detergent and water when necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals that could potentially harm the surface's finish. Regular maintenance will help preserve the beauty of this unique collection for years to come.
