SHAPES vases by Serax

In 2021, the studio was looking for a follow-up to the VOLUMES vases, but this time made from glass and solely made for flowers. With SHAPES, Studio Piet Boon created 3 elegant and serene vases, each made of completely mouth-blown glass. These objects have an aesthetic value, but also do not demand too much attention when filled with a bouquet of flowers. Japanese design and nature served as sources of inspiration.

KEKKE mirror

For this collection of five vases we played with the different thicknesses and heights that we always saw reappearing in commercial vases. By experimenting with them, volumes of different heights have been created at the top. These volumes have an important function: they keep the flowers in the right place.

KEKKE lounge chair

More comfort. More balance. The KEKKE lounge chair offers the perfect way to enjoy long, relaxed days and nights at home. The design is based on the existing KEKKE dining chair but is more expansive, which means it’s more comfortable, as well. The chair is lower to the ground and features a tilted seat upholstered in soft leather. A loose back cushion is included for extra comfort and style. The design can be paired with the KEKKE ottoman. Both models feature thicker, powder-coated steel frames.

In following of the BELLE dining chair, Studio Piet Boon designed another rounded low seater. JANE was named after two Michelin-star restaurant The Jane in Antwerp, as the studio initially designed the chair for the restaurant during the refit of its award-winning interior. Its cylinder shape, fluid lining and overlapping elements give JANE its accessible and distinct character. The sociable shape of the JANE invites for multidirectional seating, making it easy to combine JANE with other pieces of furniture.

Amund

Leolux > Styling

The Amund rug is named for polar explorer Roald Amundsen, one of the first people to visit both the North and South Poles. It is a gorgeous rug with a nice, high pile that feels cosy under your feet. It comes in three sizes: two rectangular (200 x 300 cm and 240 x 340 cm) and a round version with a diameter of 280 cm.

The designer's signature is crystal clear in the Mizu rug. The geometric pattern in the foreground is a hallmark of Edward van Vliet's designs. Litos

The Litos sofa, by Sebastian Herkner, with low back rests and uneven rounded shapes, inspired by the rocky Salento coastline, makes nature the protagonist of interior spaces. A leisurely invitation to relax, convene and enjoy life, the Litos sofa system, by Sebastian Herkner, offers both separate and modular units, suitable for furnishing domestic settings or lounge areas in the hospitality field. With a structure made of wood conglomerate and pine plywood, these sofas are equipped with removeable covers, in a selection of fabrics and leathers from the collection. Also available without armrests or with a single armrest, Litos modules are accessorized with free cushions that can be placed at will, for customised comfort.

Orla

Classic and contemporary stylistic elements define the Orla sofas and armchairs by Jasper Morrison, a masterpiece of contemporary design that has entered the collection of the Tate Modern, in London. Characterized by soft, sinuous lines, slender shells and generous, comfortable cushions, the Orla series is a tasteful addition to both domestic and contract settings.   The collection is composed of two and three-seaters, a rounded sofa (right or left), small or larger armchairs (fixed and swivelling), poufs. As of 2019, the family also includes a small two-seat sofa.   For Orla sofas and poufs, the structure is made of rigid composite polyurethane foam, with poplar plywood inserts and elastic belts; the Orla armchairs come with a fixed or swivelling structure made of foam. All versions are padded with multi-density polyurethane foam and fibre.   For the armchair and sofas, the cover of the structure is fixed, but removable for the cushions, and is available in the fabrics and leathers of the collection; for the small sofa and small armchair, the cover is fixed for both the structure and the cushions – all of which are also available in the fabrics and leathers in the collection.

Aesthetics and functionality form the perfect union in the Bac chair range. Envisioned by designer Jasper Morrison, these objects of design were inspired by the namesake table and were created for Cappellini as a natural evolution of the line.   Bac, Bac One and Bac Two seats have a frame made of solid ash wood, and are available in a bleached, oak-stained, black-stained, wengé-stained or Shanghai blue aniline stained finish. The seat is made of ash, with the same finish as the frame.   For the Bac, Bac One and Bac Two chairs it is also possible to upholster the front of the ash seat with leather or fabric.

Funiculí

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities. It is no longer only available in the neutrals moss grey, black and off-white. The new colours – green, terracotta and mustard – are intense. They are design statements, highlighting the shapes of the Funiculí and bringing chromaticism to the space. The new shades are cheerful and vivid, conveying that colour can also be essential.

Braid Rug

The Braid “Rug” features a plaited structure made of permeable, breathable acrylic yarn, making this rug ideal even in humid environments. The acrylic yarn braids are joined by sturdy, invisible stitching. The rug is finished with a braided border on two sides. The Braid “Rug” comes in four shades – Pewter, Forest Green, Ecru and Chocolate – that coordinate with the most popular kinds of outdoor paving and with the materials and fabrics in the new collection.

Jersey

Minotti > Carpet

The rug is made from braids joined up using a high resistance yarn, forming a solid textile mesh effect. The typical spiral weave style recalls that of the Jersey fabric and its structure ensures excellent performances in terms of stability and durability. The rug’s taslanised polypropylene composition gives it an ultra-natural look that is stable under UV light, eco-friendly, non-toxic, and 100% recyclable, with a small environmental footprint. Available in two sizes and three colours: Silver, Ecru and Graphite - with a slight mélange effect.

Stony

Minotti > Coffee table

The rounded, irregular shape of the Stony coffee table, inspired by pebbles smoothed by the water of rivers, figures as a natural element in the outdoor spaces designed by Minotti. Its inner frame is covered with a layer of resin, in turn coated in stone dust to produce a Basaltine effect or covered with Terracotta powder.  It comes in four different sizes, each with its own distinctive shape.

Nelson Bench

The Nelson Bench is made of ash, combining the natural colour of the seat with a black finish on the base. Its clean linear aesthetic underlines the architectural background of the designer, George Nelson. It can be used as a bench or low table and is available in two different lengths.

Asa

Asa is built of an ingenious, single, continuous tube structure which also defines the upper, handle-shaped structure for carrying. It has two colour versions: white or, in its original 1961 version, with black structure and switch. Three visible elements, structure, shade and switch, make up a beautifully-proportioned ensemble.

Confetto

Soft touch semi-matte surface Confetto is the new small-size porcelain stoneware proposal that becomes part of the Crogiolo collection, the Marazzi research that rediscovers the charm of authentic ceramics with a hand-made touch that is the result of a new hi-tech industrial craftsmanship. The surface is semi-matt, 'sugared', soft to the touch and is produced in a wide colour palette of 12 warm and cool shades in the two modular 5x15 and 10x10 sizes. The 3D Savoiardo 5x15 texture is instead made in all twelve colours and is inspired by the historical Canne Organo collection designed by Nino Caruso for Marazzi in the early 1970s. The texture has a slight breakthrough in the middle that emphasises its three-dimensionality and hand-made effect. Thanks to its minimalist yet sophisticated design, Confetto is dedicated to residential and commercial environments where you want to recreate a cosy allure and rediscover the charm of the 'handmade'. Three modular sizes - 15x15, 5x15 and 7.5x20 cm - with straight edges to enable spaceless installation. A neutral palette - Bianco, Natural and Grigio - with hints of Blu combine with three motifs inspired by nature, creating multiple compositions with a unique character.

Stretchy is a knit fabric made of FR polyester yarn in 48 different colors, all available on stock. Stretchy is an elastic fabric built on jacquard knitted looms and has a weight of 300 g/m2. With its particular fabric construction, Stretchy is suitable for upholstering with ease and excellent aesthetic results on all types of upholstered furniture, including extreme-design elements. Being very breathable, it is the ideal fabric to cover acoustic panels and padded products that contain sound-absorbing materials. Stretchy can be digital transfer printed both on the white and on dyed surface in order to personalize our customers’ products to the maximum.

Rebel

Rebel collection, the made in Italy fire resistant coated fabric with a sophisticated look, created to dress upholstered furniture with charme. Expanded microspheres are used to give Rebel a special finishing and obtain a highly velvety and refined appearance. As a result of wear, continued friction or rubbing on the surface of the fabric, it becomes even more appealing as microspheres expand and get slightly deformed to create a vintage effect. The Rebel colours have different shades of natural tones, with a slight ‘cloud’ effect. Soft, enveloping and fire resistant, this coated fabric adapts to contract or residential spaces.
