Paralela

Axolight > Table lamp

Paralela, a modular system designed by the Spanish Nahtrang Studio, stemmed from a quest to lend shape to light so that the light itself becomes a tangible decorative luminous element. Hence the idea of creating light-filled borosilicate glass cylinders – joined to one another by Nylon PA12 connectors – that use gravity to occupy space in an orderly manner, entering into a visual dialog that becomes a symphony of light. This is a complete and new product family, available in both horizontal and vertical pendant version, table lamp, floor lamp and sconce, in different sizes and five colors.

Bul-Bo

In 2019, the architects Fabrizio Pellegrino and Lodovico Gabetti, together with Giuseppe Scaturro and Magdalena Kirova, respectively CEO and art director of Axolight, created a maieutic laboratory (realistically based on the Socratic method of reaching a truth in an authentic way) with the aim of reconstructing the thought of Studio Gabetti and Isola, linked to the original design idea of the Bul-Bo lamp. Among the foundations of this path, the direct stories of the architects Aimaro Isola and Guido Drocco (co-authors of Bul-Bo in 1971), the notes and original drawings of the studio, the memories of Lodovico Gabetti (son and pupil of Roberto Gabetti ) and Fabrizio Pellegrino (student of the Gabetti and Isola studio).

Light escapes the physical boundaries of the fixture trying to contain it, and traces the ultra-physical perimeter of the object by casting a circular halo.

A combination of geometric forms creates a minimalist design. The distinctive trait of U-light is the ring-shaped structure, in which, in one of the two pendant versions, the iconic arc is inserted. Thanks to its important, but at the same time light, volume, U-light can fill the space in a dynamic way, but without burdening it.  Minimal design, lighting intensity and visual comfort make U-light a lamp that can ornament different architectural styles, from domestic to contract. Through the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light acoustic has also an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 3.11, that allows it  to reduce the noise as far as 49%. U-light was awarded the “NYCxDESIGN Award 2016”, in the category Lighting, by Interior Design magazine and ICFF.

Axolight > Ceiling lamp

U-light, in its wall and ceiling version, leaves the iconic U, in favor of an essential circular form. A ring, in which structure is inserted a LED, providing a white warm light. Thanks to its minimal design, U-light fits different styles, personalizing the spaces with a great scenic impact. Moreover, thanks to the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light has an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 2.49, that allows to reduce the noise as far as 44%.

With this light, designer Dodo Arslan creates a shimmering cloud. Argent consists of metal discs that have been meticulously shaped by hand by Terzani craftsmen into clusters. Once lit, the multiple, angled surfaces of the discs emanate a soft, shimmering glow. Argent is available in stainless steel, gold plated, rose gold plated and champagne plated finishes. Black nickel plated is available on request. Design Dodo Arslan. Made in Italy.

Ero|S| is ideal for the home, in dining or living rooms, but it also fits nicely into offices as a representative chair in the meeting room or in waiting areas. Two versions are available: the chair can rest on a glossy aluminium rotating base with central support or on a lightweight four-legged chrome structure.

Comback (2 chairs)

Comback is a chair featuring a backrest consisting of seven "teeth" which spread out towards the lumbar region where they meet a reinforced hexagonal rim with slim shafts radiating down to join the seat. A goodly size, this single mould chair embodies functionality and well-freighted ergonomics with sentiment and memories. The Comback comes in several modernised versions – the “swivel” model with four spokes and a central swivel shaft and the “sled” with two slim tubular sides.

Off Chair consists of a seat made from rigid PU foam with full upholstery. Inside the upholstery and PU foam, the chair has a steel reinforcement structure. The base comes with either four static legs or five wheels with swivel and a tilt inclination of 10°, and is made of polished or black powder-coated aluminum. An optional cushion made of veneer and PU foam is available. Choose between leather upholstery or a wide range of different textile upholstery options.
