Asa is built of an ingenious, single, continuous tube structure which also defines the upper, handle-shaped structure for carrying. It has two colour versions: white or, in its original 1961 version, with black structure and switch. Three visible elements, structure, shade and switch, make up a beautifully-proportioned ensemble.

Babel

Babel, whose name comes from the biblical story of the unfinished tower, is both a sturdy sculpture and a lamp apt for night-time intimacy. The use of alabaster, solid at the base and hollow for the shade, with no two units the same, made Babel a piece of art that began as a deliberate affront to the prevailing trends of the time.

Básica Mínima is the pocket edition of the Básica lamp. On its own or with others, it combines sturdiness and lightness. The shade and finish are available in two unique versions. The first features a bronze finish base and a pleated natural parchment lampshade. The second version has a nickel finish base and a ribbon-stitched lampshade.

On a stroll through Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá found an abandoned opal globe outside a glass factory. He took it home, and over the years, it became the heart of a large family. As its name suggests, Cesta (Spanish for “basket”) was designed to hold this fragile shade.

Duo

The Duo lamp was conceived by André Ricard for “executive desks”, not only that good focal light was required when going through extensive paperwork, but also the fact that, in the face of visitors, the view of those who sat in the confidants’ chairs should not be obstructed by a large or ostentatious lampshade. Duo fulfils both purposes seamlessly. It illuminates with proximity, and does not interrupt the visual horizon. The luminous flux is adjustable by the independent rotation of its glass shades, which can be opaque to focus the light on the work surface, or translucent to provide a more general illumination too.

Moragas

A sturdy wooden cylinder supports a head with three bulbs, surrounded by a generous circular shade. The shade is made from cotton ribbon and has a thread running along the edge, reminiscent of bookbinding, and forming an asymmetry that creates a splendid contrast of light and shadow.

Sin

A lamp that combines simplicity and technology to create a lucent ring of light suspended in the air. Conceived as a modular system the SML range can be used for a variety of purposes. A consistent design has pared its dimensions down to a minimum 25 mm in height. The different illuminant covers which can be chosen freely for top and bottom allow the light to be directed individually - symmetrically scattering upward and downward or shielded to one side. This way for example prestigious offices and apartments can be illuminated in a uniform formal language without having to do without differing qualities of light.The SML halogen range offers the wall luminare in three sizes S M and L. Wall reflectors and mirror adapters complement the program. It exploits its strengths anywhere an opening in the wall is possible but there is no desire or space for expressive lighting fixtures.
