The Americana series is built around a satin nickel rotating arm holding an elegant white linen shade. The arm gently swivels the light nearer or further away, while the wide metal base stays put, in an evocation of the harmonic motion of swing dancing.

Asa

Asa is built of an ingenious, single, continuous tube structure which also defines the upper, handle-shaped structure for carrying. It has two colour versions: white or, in its original 1961 version, with black structure and switch. Three visible elements, structure, shade and switch, make up a beautifully-proportioned ensemble.

Babel

Babel, whose name comes from the biblical story of the unfinished tower, is both a sturdy sculpture and a lamp apt for night-time intimacy. The use of alabaster, solid at the base and hollow for the shade, with no two units the same, made Babel a piece of art that began as a deliberate affront to the prevailing trends of the time.

The Básica lamp champions the return to natural materials. A birch wood cylinder, which is supported by a heavy metal base of equal diameter, holds a variety of shade options of different shapes and colours, made of sewn paperboard or ribbon. In defiance of the metallic taste of the eighties.

Básica Mínima

Básica Mínima is the pocket edition of the Básica lamp. On its own or with others, it combines sturdiness and lightness. The shade and finish are available in two unique versions. The first features a bronze finish base and a pleated natural parchment lampshade. The second version has a nickel finish base and a ribbon-stitched lampshade. 

Básica Mínima Batería

Básica Mínima Batería is the portable version of Básica Mínima. Its cylindric structure, made of birch wood, holds two lampshade options: pleated natural parchment and ribbon stitched. With a light touch, the lamp turns on and off, making it a light and practical companion.

On a stroll through Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá found an abandoned opal globe outside a glass factory. He took it home, and over the years, it became the heart of a large family. As its name suggests, Cesta (Spanish for “basket”) was designed to hold this fragile shade.

The smaller version of the Cesta lamp is defined by a smaller wooden structure, always carefully polished and strongly assembled, holding the small opal glass globe in which its light is wrapped. This design, an object-lamp that creates spaces of pleasure wherever it is located, is one of its author’s most widely publicised international icons.

Designed to illuminate the Mayor of Barcelona’s new offices in the run-up to the 1992 Olympics, its appearance evokes a balance between classic tradition and modernity wherever it is placed.

Duo

The Duo lamp was conceived by André Ricard for “executive desks”, not only that good focal light was required when going through extensive paperwork, but also the fact that, in the face of visitors, the view of those who sat in the confidants’ chairs should not be obstructed by a large or ostentatious lampshade. Duo fulfils both purposes seamlessly. It illuminates with proximity, and does not interrupt the visual horizon. The luminous flux is adjustable by the independent rotation of its glass shades, which can be opaque to focus the light on the work surface, or translucent to provide a more general illumination too.

Maija conveys the feeling of light typical of Baltic cities, where the streets are barely illuminated, apart from the light that streams from the windows of homes and shops; from the inside outwards. A tower composed of stacked metal discs through which its inner light filters, vibrant and inviting conversation.

Moragas

A sturdy wooden cylinder supports a head with three bulbs, surrounded by a generous circular shade. The shade is made from cotton ribbon and has a thread running along the edge, reminiscent of bookbinding, and forming an asymmetry that creates a splendid contrast of light and shadow.

Sin

A lamp that combines simplicity and technology to create a lucent ring of light suspended in the air. It comes in two sizes, both available in matte white or graphite, to which a shade can be affixed. Or they can be left without a shade, unapologetic. Sin broadly illuminates any work surface with direct, warm light, and does not take up space on a desk because all kinds of errant items can be kept on its base, including papers.

Sylvestrina

Each one of its shade options is hand ribboned: the natural, red-amber and black; the Raw Color terracotta, green and mustard, as well as the Diplomática and Bretona stiped shades by Júlia Esqué.
