The essence of light and colour Iridea wins the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award 2023 Marca Corona, at Cersaie in Bologna, where last year it had already received the ADI Booth design Award, wins the ADI Ceramics and Bathroom Design Award with its new Iridea collection, designed by Maria Chiara Russo. The award, created in collaboration with ADI - Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Industrial Design Association), has for the past nine years rewarded the Italian products exhibited at the Bologna trade fair that best combine innovation and design quality in the ceramic tile, bathroom furniture and other surface sectors. And which constitute a pre-selection for the ADI Design Index 2024, an annual publication that brings together the best Italian design put into production Spectacular landscapes of natural and dynamic nuances The new Iridea collection by Marca Corona transports us to an enchanted landscape where light expands in a cascade of pastel tones, transforming the environment into a dwelling place of serenity. The palette of nuances is artistically expressed by interpreting the Colour Shift trend, which glides over the walls as a delicate curtain. Marca Corona's vision aims to go beyond aesthetics: the essence of Iridea is to create environments that reflect unique personalities, combining different elements from the same collection or from different ones, in search of styles, atmospheres and inspirations. The colour selection ensures easy matching for the many effects in the range, from wood to concrete, stone to marble. The nuances selected by Marca Corona make every space cosy: shades such as Zucchero, Sabbia, Caramel, Prato and Mare enhance residential and commercial settings. The Degradé Oceano, Degradé Alga, Degradé Cannella and the more chromatic Degradé Alga-Oceano variants bring thoughts back to sunsets along the coast, releasing infinite horizontal or vertical customisations. Iridea's white-body wall tiling catches the eye by inviting the touch. The delicate 3-D relief, with its light stripes, gives a tangible feeling of elegance and refinement. The 50x120 cm size allows versatility in the decoration of both residential and commercial interiors, giving a distinctive and original look to walls of different heights.
