This meticulous, time-intensive method demands weeks of controlled drying, expert handling, and carefully calibrated firing, each stage determining the final form and colour, and leaving little room for error. Crockery is both a feat of innovative production and an evolution of a long-standing creative dialogue, showcasing 1882 Ltd.’s technical mastery and Lamb’s material experimentation as they push ceramics beyond its presumed limits.

The Comback comes in several modernised versions – the “swivel” model with four spokes and a central swivel shaft and the “sled” with two slim tubular sides.
