A re-edition of an indoor side table of 1998, Duchamp "Outdoor" recalls the structure and the mono-material surface of the original concept. In Fynn, Scandinavian values meet Italian tradition. A contemporary design for outdoor spaces in teak wood, crafted with fine cabinet-making workmanship.  With a completely innovative approach, the fine cabinet-making process used for the manufacturing of outdoor wooden furniture is applied to a family of outdoor furnishing pieces in solid teak, combining sophisticated workmanship with an ultra-contemporary design.   Characterised by an interwoven frame that hosts soft seat and backrest cushions, Fynn has in the armrest its signature element. Real one-off pieces due to the oxidation process they undergo, which makes each one different from the others, the Pilotis Outdoor coffee tables are conceived as solid volumes of pure geometry. Their name refers to one of the distinctive architectural elements of Rationalism, and indicates the slender columns on which the airy volumes of the Rationalist buildings would lie. Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni and made in Corten or Cobalt Blue colour varnished stainless steel, the coffee table is available in two different heights, both with the same 27 cm diameter. The rounded, irregular shape of the Stony coffee table, inspired by pebbles smoothed by the water of rivers, figures as a natural element in the outdoor spaces designed by Minotti. Both the new elements stand on four legs characteristic of the Lido family aesthetic, in solid teak wood or mahogany with a Dark Brown stained veneer, enriched by unique steel inserts with a Bronze-coloured varnish at the top.  The design, which perfectly expresses the vision of Minotti, capable of interpreting indoor and outdoor spaces with the same strong coherence, is produced using clever, advanced technology and materials conceived specifically for open air environments. The frame of the backrest is in stainless steel with a Bronze-coloured varnish and covered in polypropylene cords in shades that can vary from the more neutral and traditional tones of Dark Brown and Sand to brighter ones also inspired by nature and the chromatic development of the entire collection, Citron, Blue and Petroleum. Colours related to images of faraway landscapes that bring freshness and character to this family of outdoor furnishing pieces with an enveloping look inspired by the 1950s.  The new elements enrich the existing ones, where the unusually organic shaped sofa is the protagonist, characterised by a Bronze varnished aluminium base with polished anti-touch finish, a distinguishing feature that makes a strong sculptural impression. The peculiarity that makes Van Dyck a timeless object is the support structure. It is characterized by a sculptural base, consisting of three 10 cm diameter stainless steel tubes welded together and painted with polyester powder for outdoor use in the Clay, Sunflower, Rust and Khaki Green colours. Quadrado "Table"

Rationalist, minimal, designed by combining different materials and textures that enhance its linear shapes, the table features the element that characterises the Quadrado family on its top: a duckboard pattern.  Teak duckboard, used in the yachting industry to facilitate the outflow of water, was introduced in 2018 as a modular element of the structured Quadrado seating system created by the Brazilian designer. The table comes in three dimensions, and features a top set on aluminium legs, designed as two panels that cross it on the short side. It sports a striking Lava Stone Powder finish, generating an interesting contrast between the surfaces and the Teak wood of the top. A number of plug-in accessories, such as the candle-holder and the Lava Stone tray, mean the table can be set to match the occasion.  The Quadrado table can be used in different arrangements, perhaps forming part of a domino sequence or designing a frame round the trunk of a tree, as suggested by Marcio Kogan, as always in pursuit of an ideal relationship between his designs and the nature surrounding them.

Smooth, soft to the touch, with no rough edges, the structural and lateral parts of the table reiterate the elongated and slightly curved design of the wooden armrest, which characterises the family of seats. The rectangular top, made of wooden staves, is available in two sizes. The Daiki seats, born out of the Brazilian architect’s passion for Japanese culture, go outdoors, where the open-air space is conceived and experienced as an extension of the indoor living area: a veritable tribute to Japanese design culture. The Daiki family includes armchairs with a deep seat, available both with and without arms, a dining little armchair and a footstool. Created using sophisticated wood crafting techniques, the curved shell in solid teak comprises two elements joined at a 45° angle, with a sloping backrest that guarantees maximum comfort. In the outdoor version the shell offers a snug fit for the stitched cushions, and is set on a stainless-steel frame with Bronze-coloured varnished polished legs. A design that also explores and reinterprets the American Mid-Century atmospheres, injecting new life into the style of contemporary outdoor furnishing with its clean, bold lines, exquisite teak working technique and balanced proportions.

Torii Nest Outdoor "Dining"

Designed for indoor environments in 2020, Torii Nest migrates to open-air living spaces, in the armchair, lounge and dining little armchairs versions. With structural details linked to Japanese tradition, the seats play with round edged volumes, thin profiles and the apparent formal simplicity of an extremely intricate design. The varnished tubular stainless steel frame of the backrest is covered in woven cord in the shades Ecru and Dark Brown, sporting a design inspired by Vienna straw, but with a larger mesh. It sits on a base in natural teak or Dark Brown stained mahogany, supported by aluminium legs with a polished, Bronze-coloured, anti-touch finish. With its backrest in the shape of a perfect circle, and a sophisticated visual lightness that embraces the padded seat, Torii Nest Outdoor was conceived to meet various requirements, in terms of both functionality and ergonomics. The three types are available in the fixed and swivel without return versions, thanks to a tried and tested mechanism, a novelty for the outdoor environment.

The Lido Cord Outdoor family is composes of a semi-curved lounge sofa, a linear two-seater sofa, an armchair, a dining little armchair and a lounge little armchair, with an enveloping design reminiscent of a comfy nest, also complemented by a bench and an ottoman. The frame of the backrest is in Bronze-coloured painted stainless steel, and it is covered with polypropylene cords in tones that can span from the more traditional shades of Sand, Dark Brown and Black, to brighter shades such as Citron, Dark Blue and Teal. All colours - with the exception of Black, which gives the piece character and a strong identity- related to images of faraway landscapes that bring freshness to this family of outdoor furnishing pieces with a look inspired by the 1950s.  The semi-curved lounge sofa, in particular, is characterised by a Bronze varnished aluminium base with polished anti-touch finish, the ultimate distinguishing mark of its bold sculptural look: on one hand it offers a formal seat, on the other its depth is extended, becoming a bergère, with backrest in the shape of a soft nest. A veritable invitation to lie back and relax in a cosier, more relaxing way. The other elements of the family, on the other hand, rest on legs in Dark Brown solid mahogany, or solid teak, while the coffee tables reiterate the design of the X-shaped aluminium sofa base of the semi-curved lounge sofa. The coffee tables come in four sizes and two heights, with circular or square top in brushed, fine-grain Basaltina stone, which rests on the crib-shaped base. 

Yoko "Cord" Outdoor Dining

Minotti > Seat

The Yoko seat evolves to become the Yoko Cord Outdoor project by Japanese-Scandinavian duo Inoda+Sveje, composed of an armchair, dining little armchair, bench footstool - with and without upholstery - and coffee table with top in Basaltina stone, all with a natural teak frame. The seat and backrest are strung with Ecru or Dark Brown polyester cord on which the soft cushions, upholstered with fabrics from the 2022 Textile Outdoor Collection, rest. The seat and the top of the bench footstool are strung with a balanced weave that gives the natural allure of handcrafted workmanship in line with the classic principles of stringing; a special teak frog feature has been applied in continuity with the finish of the frame to better secure the cushions to the seat and the backrest. A Bronze detail adorns the wooden frame of these furnishing pieces, embellishing them yet maintaining their silent elegance intact: it is a particular joint, located between the frame and the rear vertical legs whose coupling is enhanced by a varnished Bronze colour button.

Belt "Cord" Outdoor Dining

The enveloping and comfortable body of the Belt seats designed for indoor use in 2021 also shapes the outdoor version. The band which, in the original design, outlines the silhouette of the volume recalling the shape of a belt, in its outdoor version becomes a corded contour in the colours Sand and Dark Brown, covering the polished Bronze steel frame. The seats rest on a matt varnished aluminium base, in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown, reiterating the colours of the cord, and feature padded cushions with extra-durable polyurethane foam inserts, covered in water-repellent fibre and fabric. The Belt Cord Outdoor family is composed of a two-seater sofa, bergère, armchair, footstool, lounge armchair and dining little armchair, all also available with natural finish teak legs. With a more classic feel and a warmer aesthetic, this version can be easily combined with all the other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection.

In Fynn, Scandinavian values meet Italian tradition. A contemporary design for outdoor spaces in teak wood, crafted with fine cabinet-making workmanship.  With a completely innovative approach, the fine cabinet-making process used for the manufacturing of outdoor wooden furniture is applied to a family of outdoor furnishing pieces in solid teak, combining sophisticated workmanship with an ultra-contemporary design.   Characterised by an interwoven frame that hosts soft seat and backrest cushions, Fynn has in the armrest its signature element. Elongated and slightly curved, rounded and smooth to the touch, it is completely handmade: its precise, well-defined line identifies the entire family, composed of armchair, lounge and dining little armchairs, benches, footstools, coffee tables in different sizes and a dining table. The Fynn Outdoor armchair and little armchairs feature a distinctive ultra-lightweight aesthetic with a simple structure in teak. The frame is interwoven with wicker-effect cords in Mud colour, hosting a padded seat and backrest cushion, designed as a single element. The informal rigour with which Fynn Outdoor hosts the padded element designs a comfortable seat. The bench completes the family. Its cushions sit on a frame interwoven with wicker-effect cords in Mud colour. The coffee tables also share the same line as the wooden armrest, which designs a slight curve also found in the rounded sides of the top. The central part of the coffee table is enhanced by the presence of the top in Pietra del Cardoso, creating a sophisticated combination of materials.

An eclectic outdoor furnishing piece, the Sunray Luke bench is designed to be used as a seat, a footstool and, when required, a support surface. Linear, with a simple volume of pleasing proportions, it is covered in a woven fabric with a three-dimensional effect that is soft to the touch, giving it a comfortable, homely look.   It is available in four sizes and sits on a polished Bronze metal frame, in a harmonious contrast with the texture of the upholstery.

Having explored the use of woods, such as iroko and teak, with Patio, designed by Italian-Danish studio GamFratesi, Minotti proposes an unexpected mix of different materials: aluminium, wood, stone, cord. The outdoor seating system, with its highly versatile modularity, is conceived as a dynamic mosaic, composed of tesserae in simple geometric shapes, which can be pieced together as desired, and reconfigured to suit the available space and the mood to be created. The design of the sofa base structure enables the back elements to be arranged in various set positions all along the perimeter, to design conversation, relaxation, and vis-à-vis areas, spacing out the seats with coffee tables, and complementing them with ottomans and benches. A solution capable of meeting the requirements of both small metropolitan terraces, and extensive outdoor spaces, thanks to the two depths: 83 and 98 cm. The variety of potential compositions becomes even more interesting when the selected materials are masterfully combined: the extruded aluminium base with matt finish in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown is accompanied by steel backrests, covered in woven polypropylene cord in the same shades, according to a Scandinavian-type geometric design. Some of the seating elements feature a handy tray in Dark Brown stained solid mahogany or in natural teak, with grooves for draining water, attached to the structure. Patio offers an interesting range of furnishing accessories, from coffee tables with top in brushed fine-grain Basaltina stone, benches, and square and rectangular ottomans with extruded aluminium base, in a creative mix of materic textures and sophisticated, natural colours. The system offers a rich variety of sofas in different measurements and configurations, in addition to central and end units, armchairs, loveseat, sunbeds and double daybeds. All the elements share the same feet and the same joints at the back in die-cast aluminium, varnished with a refined polished, anti-touch Bronze finish.

Tape "Cord" Outdoor

The Tape family of seats, which made its début in 2018, naturally evolves, incorporating items for the outdoor environment that maintain the undeniable elegance of the forms and concepts of the design, and add a few welcome variants that embrace the concept of outdoor living.   The seats become deeper, larger and more relaxing, while the metal frame, in a new outdoor finish, is covered with the wicker-effect cords available in two colours: Mud and Liquorice. Here, the couture detail of Tape - the piece of ribbon that holds the feet on to the body - takes the form of a metal plate in Bronze colour, a finish that is the leitmotiv of all the outdoor seats of the 2019 Collection.  The system offers many elements, ideal for creating relaxation areas also in small outdoor spaces or on urban rooftop terraces: from the armchair to the sofa, from the Paolina chaise longue to the original couch open at the back, from the chair to the coffee tables, up until the stool in two heights of 102 and 115 cm, in the collection from January 2020. The concept of the small tables in metal with Bronze finish is inspired by the distinctive Tape detail itself, which aesthetically secures the legs to the crown, inside which the top in Silver Beola or Corian® EC is inserted.

The precise, well-defined line of this element identifies the entire family of seats in both the standard Fynn and Fynn Saddle-Hide versions. The upholstery options are as diverse as they are exquisite; the collection offers exclusive fabrics and saddle-hides, each meticulously selected to fully express Minotti's commitment to high-quality sartorial processes. The Fynn armchair and little armchairs come in a variety of sizes, including lounge and dining little armchairs, benches, poufs, and coffee tables. The ultra-lightweight aesthetic of the Fynn armchair is achieved through an ash wood frame stained with Liquorice color, complemented by a padded seat and backrest cushion designed as a single element. This design ensures a comfortable seating experience that envelops the body in warmth and support, almost cradling it within the wooden structure. In the Fynn Saddle-Hide version, a single saddle-hide element incorporates both the seat and backrest, offering an alternative to separate padded cushions for armchairs and lounge little armchairs. The upholstery options are extensive, spanning from Burgundy to Ash, Dove Grey, Sage, Mud, Moka, Black, Bulgarian Red, Moss Green, Green, Pewter, Corten, White, and Grey. For the dining area, the Fynn family includes versions with fully padded shells or Saddle-Hide versions featuring cushions. The footstools and benches in the collection are cushioned except for those in the Saddle-Hide version, which feature a slightly concave top structure enveloped by saddle-hide covering that exudes elegance akin to fine leather. The coffee tables in this design line share the same aesthetic with their wooden armrests, featuring a slight curve. The central part of these tables is enhanced by a Calacatta marble top, creating a sophisticated combination of materials.
