KEIICHI - Ceramic vase by Lambert
Description
The slender and simple KEIICHI vases are inspired by Japanese ceramic art. Making ceramic pots is one of the oldest handcrafting techniques known to mankind, and has remained almost unchanged for thousands of years. To this day, pots and containers are still being made in a more or less similar process. The KEIICHI vases are poured from fine ceramics and high-fired before receiving a satin finish. The décor is then applied to the surface and fixed in place by a third firing in the kiln. This gives each workpiece its own unmistakable character, turning each pot into a unique piece. It is advisable to use a plastic insert for any extended use with water, as this ceramic can sweat through the bottom.
