Myra Yurtiwa Cook was born at a special place called Kartjinguku, a creek situated near Warakurna. There was a warnampi wati (water snake man) from Pukarra. He had to travel to the Lirrun where the lirru yarnangu (snake people) lived to ask for help. His son was wounded and very sick. He travelled a really long way to get some special medicine for his son. The snake people were going to travel back to Pukarra with the warnampi man to help him and his son but a young man made a mess. Warakurna is a community situated on the Great Central Road in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands of Western Australia. Warakurna has a long history of artistic expression. In March 2005 the Art Centre studio was opened, and is fully owned and governed by Aboriginal people, providing services to artists living and visiting Warakurna and the nearby community of Warakurna. The Art Centre plays an important role in the community, providing cultural an social benefits in addition to economic returns. Warakurna Artists facilitates the production and distribution of the artist's artwork. The paintings are vibrant and diverse, reflecting each artist's unique style stories and connection to the country. All proceeds are returned to the artists and their organisation. The swirling grain, eyes, and knots—born from time, fungus, and disruption—draw complex, organic patterns that no design could replicate. Encased in a translucent layer that evokes the still waters of its native forest, the wood becomes a suspended landscape. Its irregular contours and unpredictable forms suggest a coral reef, a microscopic world, or a topography yet to be discovered. A sculptural presence that invites open interpretation, where matter and imagination meet.

DOLOMYTH Stool

In the shadow of the Dolomites, alcarol retrieved ancient stone blocks from an abandoned quarry — fragments of territory shaped over millennia by slow sedimentation. Mosses and lichens still cling to their surfaces, etching the textures of time like natural cartographies. Their vertical sections reveal layers of geological history — delicate shades of antique pink and grey pressed together by the weight of deep time. Above, the top remains untouched: rough, wrinkled, and raw — the unworked skin of the Earth. Encased at the base in transparent resin, this stone now rests within a still pool — a final layer that recalls the ancient waters once flowing around it, now paused. The Dolomyth Stool is a cross-section of the Earth’s crust, a miniature submerged landscape where the last stratum is not rock, but silence. A place where the past surfaces, and sediment becomes structure.

Skinì TEX the partition with an absorbing function is a reinterpretation of the ancient concept of the partition that allows space to be divided and remodeled in a novel and innovative way, also pandering to acoustic comfort needs. Skinì TEX comes in a wide variety of colors thanks to the soft fabrics used to cover the Skins, thermoformed in polyester and coupled with FIDIVI - ONE fabrics. Technical fabrics, produced by recycling PET bottles and which can be safely recycled in turn. A fabric that stands out for its ability to absorb sound, but also has other qualities: it has excellent resistance to abrasion and rubbing, is designed for use in public environments so it has high resistance to fire and also to exposure to light.
