Almost one tenth of the ocean plastic waste consists of abandoned fishing nets turning millions of sea creatures into victims. Fishing nets are made of nylon, a high-performance plastic that is now also completely recyclable. The Wave screen is made of some coloured nets from the oceans melted together with ECONYL® material, the translucent regenerated nylon produced through an innovative and sustainable chemical process that regenerate waste such as fishing and aquaculture nets and other nylon waste. Inspired by the ocean waves of Hokusai, the Wave screen is an abstract reflection about the fragile condition of our oceans.

FLOATING KARST Side Table

Karst is a landscape born of water — shaped not by force, but by time. Over thousands of years, acidic rain filters through cracks in soluble rock, like the Dolomites’ ancient formations, dissolving the earth from within. The result is a hidden terrain of sinkholes, vanishing streams, and cavernous voids carved by turbulent, unseen flows. From this quiet geological drama, alcarol has salvaged fragments of local karst stone, still marked by native mosses and lichens. Their textured surfaces — worn by water and layered with time — are encased in a transparent resin that mirrors the stillness of the very element that once sculpted them. The Floating Karst Side Table is a metaphysical object, a section of land, weathered by movement, now suspended in stillness. A stone seemingly levitates above its base, as if time itself had paused mid-erosion. What was once fluid is now fixed; what was once impermanent becomes form. It is a fragment of the Earth held in balance, between presence and absence, matter and memory.

RAPOLANO Low Table

Three million years ago, the Chianti hills overlooked a vast inland sea. In that ancient basin, thermal waters carried sediments through time — layer after layer — settling, shifting, and sculpting the land. As the sea slowly withdrew, it left behind a territory etched by water and wind: a stratified memory of beaches, lagoons, and shallow depths. From this landscape of transformation comes Rapolano Travertine, stone born of warm mineral-rich springs, used since the time of the Etruscans and Romans. In collaboration with Vaselli, alcarol salvaged fragments of this eroded stone, their natural cavities filled with transparent resin, a still echo of the thermal waters that once flowed through them. In this state of suspended clarity, the stone seems to float above time. The Rapolano Low Table is more than a functional surface: it’s a miniature landscape, a geological memory made visible. A fragment of territory shaped by ancient flows, now still, now quiet — where the turbulence of millennia has been paused, preserved, and made eternal.

DOLOMYTH Vase

The Dolomyth Vase emerges from the silent heart of the Dolomites — carved from stone blocks retrieved in an abandoned quarry, where time once pressed its weight into layers of sediment. These vertical sections reveal the geological memory of the mountains, with delicate strata shifting from antique pink to soft grey — the unmistakable palette of dolomite rock. The base of the vase is cast in crystal-clear resin, like ancient water turned to glass. It doesn’t just preserve the wrinkled surface of the stone — it suspends it, reverses it, as though the submerged has risen, and time had turned upside down. What once was buried beneath rivers of stone now floats, impossibly, in stillness. Above this surreal balance, a small removable glass vessel invites life — a stem, a bloom, a single moment of becoming. The Dolomyth Vase is a fragment of territory, eroded by water and held in the echo of its absence. A surreal object where the heavy floats, and the ephemeral takes root atop the eternal.

KARST Stool

Karst is a landscape shaped not by force, but by the patient dissolution of stone. These time-marked skins are now suspended in a transparent resin, like water stilled in its motion — freezing the instant, preserving the trace. The Karst Stone Side Table is a section of Earth’s crust, lifted from subterranean silence. It reveals a miniature, ancestral seascape — shaped by fluid movement, now motionless. A fragment of land where the echo of water lingers in the cavities it once carved, and where impermanence becomes enduring form. This is not just a table — it is a suspended topography, a quiet memory of submerged time.

Surround is a heavy and enveloping coated fabric, easy to use, with excellent aesthetic results in a variety of applications. The finish on the surface is very similar to genuine leather and new flame retardant treatments allow the vinyl to be approved in the main European countries.

Skill Diamond

Skill Diamond is a flame retardant coated fabric made for residential and contract upholstery. Skill Diamond is produced by a smart geometrical design, achieved through a technique typical of quilting industry. Its polyurethane foam padding gives to Skill Diamond the particular threedimensional aspect. Its quilted surface shows a characteristic matt-grain surface similar to real leather, in a range of colours all on stock.
