Snowgems wall design (a+b) Annalisa Dominoni, Benedetto Quaquaro Snowgems is a wall-mounted sound-absorbing system, composed of panels in shapes and colours reminiscent of precious gems; made with Snowsound technology. The panels are held in a frame of galvanized tubular steel, which is mounted on two chromed metal plates that are anchored to the wall. The panels can rotate on their own axis, and thus lend themselves to multiple different configurations. “The design of these units is inspired by the idea of a thread of differently shaped and colored precious gems strung together to form a necklace or pendant earrings”. Snowgems is a scalable modular system based on units that add both formality and softness to a space and significantly enhance its acoustic and aesthetic quality. The shapes, which are underpinned by stainless steel clips, are reminiscent of undulating sand dunes and not only evoke a sense of sinuous movement but also, thanks to the distinctive materiality of the fabric, seem to allude to the myriad grains of sand. The sound absorbing system is anchored to the wall by means of a sturdy bracket of epoxy-coated steel. Two steel stiffening tubes are inserted in the upper and lower part of the panel where they are held in place by special chromed screws. The Hunt Chair was inspired by a vintage modern chair that Suzanne Kasler found some time ago for her own collection. She loved the graceful curve of the legs, the rounded back and nail head trim. The scale is ideal for a game or dining table or simply as an accent chair. A companion bar and counter stool are also available. Comes standard with NP-08 nail head trim.

The Alexander Tight Back Sofa, Chair, and Ottoman and their companion loose pillow back version were adapted from a 19th Century image from The Cabinet Dictionary, a rare Thomas Sheraton book which is carefully preserved in the world-class library of the Winterthur Country Estate. The sculptural exposed wood frame is accentuated by elegantly slender mahogany trim surrounding the base, arms, and outback. The Alexander Chair is standard with a single Spring-Down seat cushion. The Alexander Sofa is standard with three Spring-Down seat cushions and a pair of 20” goose feather throw pillows. Also available with a loose pillow back.
