A new design created with a weave effect. The surface of the wood of the OAK PLANKS is imprinted with a weave effect, creating relief designs on various types of wood species. As well as the brand new, innovative appearance, this working increases the natural hardness of the wood (even the softer types), to create flooring with planks with a surface particularly suitable for areas with a high footfall.

A raised weft never seen before on a wood flooring is what Cadorin offers here in a special Weave working that is now a part of the Tracce di Listoni Collection. Weave working that that recalls the weft of linen fabric on the surface of the wood. All these workings conducted through an applied pressure technique make the wood particularly hard and compact and increase the wear resistance of the surface to make it ideal for every home. American Walnut is one of the species selected by Cadorin to be awarded its Selected Wood mark. Felled in North America, this is one of the varieties most widely used for furniture, flooring, and facing.

Wenge Saw Raw

African Wengè, with its characteristically black colour, is proposed in an unusual version with traces of woodworm and insects, plus obvious saw marks. This is then “packaged” with an antique finish that highlights and accentuates the black/brown grain of this warm welcoming African timber. The resulting wood floor fits in perfectly with pale shades and streaks of gray and hazelnut. The surface machining and finishes are carefully studied to reveal the beauty of the wood, not to disguise or alter it, while the use of natural oils and waxes or wax-effect varnishes ensure contact with the wood, guaranteeing maximum practicality and easy upkeep.

American Walnut and European Oak with Tarassaco finish The vibrant vitality of the dandelion puff is captured in the SKETCH texture of the TRACK PLANKS collection, which preserves Cadorin’s precious collection of three-dimensional textures from the processing of wooden planks or panels. The texture proposal is achieved by imprinting into the wood, like live sketches, the delicate flight of soft dandelion puffs moved by the wind, offering soft natural textures for a serene, emotionally-impactful well-being effect. Kimono

KIMONO originates from the observation of an ancient symbol: the wave pattern of Japanese tradition known as Seigaiha. A sequence of forms that has traversed centuries of art, textiles, and objects within Japanese culture, evoking continuity, balance, and movement. This simple yet powerful sign becomes the starting point of the project. The research behind KIMONO was developed within the 57-metre full custom yacht “Setteesettanta” by the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, where the themes of surface, rhythm, and material were explored as an integral part of the interior architecture. The first prototypes and the initial application of the flooring were developed exclusively for this project, representing a moment of experimentation and design synthesis. In the design of the wooden flooring, the rhythm of the waves is reinterpreted as a surface capable of shaping space through repetition, transforming a traditional pattern into a contemporary architectural language. The sea represents the primary source of inspiration. Its waves, with their slow and constant motion, suggest a visual rhythm that naturally expands across the surface, generating a sense of harmony and continuity. Alongside this dimension, a second symbolic reference emerges: the koi. In Japanese culture, it is associated with strength and perseverance, capable of swimming upstream with energy and determination.
