The staircase is a precious architectural element: often today it has no longer the only function of connecting one floor of the dwelling to another, but it becomes an object of study by architects, in order to become as flashy as possible. For Cadorin, covering the staircase with the same wood species and finish chosen for the parquet, in order to create a continuum between the floor and the staircase, is a daily occurrence. Many people may not know that, when choosing how to cover the stairs with Cadorin parquet, they can opt for different solutions. That because the Company studies everything in each single detail and the elements used to cover the steps – the bull edge, the riser, the tread, the edge of the staircase, the finishing edge, etc. – can be made differently, changing and diversifying the aesthetics of the staircase itself.

It’s easy to keep your floors covering entire walls: just use jointed boards like the 2 or 3 hardwood layers planks. Since long time the Cadorin hardwood planks are used as walls, wardrobes, doors, room dividers, coverings… During the last edition of Made Expo in Milan of the last October, Cadorin presented the new design of Wall parquet. It’s tailor made planks to be placed both horizontally and vertically in multiple modules, so as to do assemblies with unique drawings. The planks, in fact, can cover the wall horizontally or vertically using the same finish of the wood floor or choosing in the several collections of different Cadorin lines, like Elite Planks, Tracks Planks, Epoch Planks or Pregio woods. In this last case, it’s possible then having fun to coordinate and match the various solutions.

A wrap-around table with a float glass top supported by two large TOMI de LEGN books. Two books from the TOMI de LEGN collection, a striking book, open on the pages side holds the glass and is accompanied by another upside-down book, also with its pages half-open. Both are handcrafted masterpieces, made entirely by hand by master Delfino Cadorin, the creator of this collection designed by his daughter Rita Cadorin The TOMI de LEGN books are made with a WALNUT cover, a bark finish and FIR WOOD pages. Each piece is unique and signed by Cadorin. Together with the Italian quality certificate, a product identification and creation booklet is also issued. In coordination for the living room or a harmonious corner, two other small tables, one small and one tiny, also with a glass top and supported by crushed, upturned books arranged in a disjointed fashion. Two books seem to be crushed by the weight of the glass top, so much so that the folds in the corners show through Creation, design and warm-luxury

In this concept, the natural beauty of wood meets a contemporary element: the “naval strip” inlay, originally developed for marine applications. Made of Walnut and Wengé, both finished with precious metal powders – bronze and white gold – and processed using the Tatami texture, the composition enhances the noble material through refined, tactile contrasts. The Tatami processing, already a signature in other Cadorin creations, enhances the interaction between light and surface, contributing to the visual transformation of the wood throughout the day. A raised weft never seen before on a wood flooring is what Cadorin offers here in a special Weave working that is now a part of the Tracce di Listoni Collection. Weave working that that recalls the weft of linen fabric on the surface of the wood. All these workings conducted through an applied pressure technique make the wood particularly hard and compact and increase the wear resistance of the surface to make it ideal for every home. American Walnut is one of the species selected by Cadorin to be awarded its Selected Wood mark. Felled in North America, this is one of the varieties most widely used for furniture, flooring, and facing.

Burmese Teak

Wenge Saw Raw

African Wengè, with its characteristically black colour, is proposed in an unusual version with traces of woodworm and insects, plus obvious saw marks. This is then “packaged” with an antique finish that highlights and accentuates the black/brown grain of this warm welcoming African timber. The resulting wood floor fits in perfectly with pale shades and streaks of gray and hazelnut. The surface machining and finishes are carefully studied to reveal the beauty of the wood, not to disguise or alter it, while the use of natural oils and waxes or wax-effect varnishes ensure contact with the wood, guaranteeing maximum practicality and easy upkeep.
