The Flia family of outdoor floor lamps stands out for its ability to combine technological aspects with rigorous expressive forms. The miniaturization of the light source is a key factor of the project. The carbon stem is supported by a cylinder that contains the core elements and grants the lamp strength, lightness and flexibility. Flia is available in a single configuration – with three different heights – or multiples – with 2 or 3 stems – and can be attached to floors and decks, or directly on the ground.

Fienile outdoor

Fienile is also available in floor lamp versions for outdoor use, based on the same design inspired by the iconic rural buildings of Norway. Fienile Outdoor is a work of micro-architecture, with its walls and pitched roof extruded in a single, solid block of coated aluminium, while the diffuser is in polycarbonate. The outdoor version of Fienile comes in two heights, 32 or 72 cm, and two colors: pale and dark gray. Thanks to its essential design, Fienile Outdoor fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape and architectural context. The characteristic angled roof, besides being a clear reference to the archetypal form of the house, contributes to screen the light and spread it uniformly on the ground.

Along with the high-tech lighting engineering performance which distinguishes it, Koinè enjoys yet another innovative element in the sound-absorbing version. The reflector is a felt cap (60% recycled) which not only has an important decorative role, but also allows increased acoustic comfort in the vicinity by reducing the time of sound reverberation. An aluminium portion inside covers the surfaces and contributes on one hand to holding the felt in place, and on the other hand to dispersing the heat of the light source.

The lamp provides light directed upward and downward, thanks to great freedom of movement, permitting rotation of 360 degrees. It is possible to connect up to four suspension lamps (for Europe version) or two suspension lamp (for Americas version) with a single power cord, conserving the rotation of each unit.

The design language of Daniel Rybakken returns to its reliance on the intrinsic power of basic geometric forms, turning this time to the symbol of harmony par excellence: the circle. An extension of the Compendium family, Circle is a lamp with a poetic nature and an essential design, whose lightness is sustained by LED technology, installed to permit direct emission when pointed downward, or diffused light when aimed upward. It is also possible to combine up to three rings of different diameters to give rise to different configurations and luminous scenarios of great visual impact.

Amisol

The Amisol project is about making a pendant light that occupies a large physical space with a minimal physical volume, for easy orientation in space. A translucent white fi lm or a metallized mirror membrane is stretched inside a circular aluminium profile. Like a solar sail, an incredibly powerful light source projects a beam of light onto the large, almost weightless disk, either diffusing or reflecting the light. Thin rods connect the two main elements together. By altering the length and the connecting points of the two supporting wires the rotation of the disk can be set in any angle.

Across

Across is a versatile and dynamic lamp, ready to personalize any space, “crossing” it with a clear, distinctive graphic gesture. A linear suspension lamp composed of three interconnected axes of two different sizes, to create compositions with different images and levels of complexity. The structure is formed by a horizontal extruded body that contains an optical group for direct lighting, and two hinged elements that make it possible to attach the lamp to the wall or the ceiling. The lamp’s adaptability gives rise to various configurations to respond to different technical and stylistic needs.

Millimetro

Halfway between a pendant and a ceiling lamp, Millimetro is composed of a very thin reflecting circular disk (1 mm thickness) and warm, enveloping light directed upward from below. The upper cap is attached to a stem that supports the metal disk with a mirror finish. The LED light source, concealed behind the disk, provides a diffused, uniform glow. To respond to various installation requirements, it is possible to choose from four different lengths for the stem that connects the body of the lamp to the ceiling attachment.

Discocó

If there is one iconic design in the Marset collection, it is the Discocó: exuberant, even when switched off, the richness of the light emitted by this lamp provides direct downward illumination as well as a dramatic surrounding interplay of light and shadow. Its detailed study of indirect light adds nuance and also depth. Further reflections dance off the chrome-covered sphere at the core, to which the discs are attached.When switched off, the Discocó is a stunning object that catches the eye and fills the space. Available in white, grey, beige and gold black in 5 different sizes and also in an oak wood finish, a high-quality material that provides unmatched quality and comfort. Using wood and making it light without conveying apparent or real weight is a challenge and for this reason this version is only available in pendant format, with a diameter of 68 cm. In this wooden edition, the interior metal structure comes in a graphite nickel finish. All versions of the Discocó provide an exceptionally cosy light.

How does one design a light that translates the playfulness of an endlessly spiraling ribbon? The Piola collection is about imitating this fluidity of infinite movement, in search of a balance between the diffusion of light and the creation of shadows.A central metal column holds more than 5 meters of spiraling, laminated band, enveloping, protecting, and sifting the light for beauty and comfort. Several different types of light coexist here: direct downward light, indirect reflected light, and a light that sneaks between the edges of the spiral, illuminating the fixture itself with a warm, homey glow. The fixture’s spiraling form breaks with the monotony of cleanly ordered lines, offering a different face from every angle. At the same time, the central column provides a symmetry and solidity that supports and reinforces the visual movement of the screen.

Vetra

At first glance, Vetra could be no more than a traditional, old-fashioned, blown-glass lamp, but turning it on yields a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a completely closed glass diffuser as a reflector, and creatively places the light source outside -instead of inside- the shade. The Vetra gives off more light than one would expect, without glare. Much of the light is directed downward, and the rest is filtered toward the inside of the shade, subtly illuminating it.Like an echo multiplying the light, when it’s on, its entire outline is drawn out and seems to come alive. This collection is offered in different diameters (20, 32 and 43 cm) in white and amber, a color that emphasizes even more its relationship with the light. A contrasting layout in which the lamp proper becomes more visible and its light – sheltered by these tones – warmer.

Zenc

The Zenc’s design is inspired by the water tanks on New York rooftops. With this in mind, Gaspar has created a contemporary form reminiscent of industrial aesthetics.A shade 44 cm in diameter and 28 cm high surrounds the light source. On the outside its texture enriches the volume, and generates surprise… It seems to be made of metal, specifically zinc, a material traditionally linked to storage tanks, and like tanks, even the joints stick out. However, it is produced in rotomoulded bi-layer polyethylene. Its interior is covered in a white layer so that the light bounces, emanates and catches the eye. And that’s where the contrast is created: the outside is available in several colours – blue, grey, off-white, red, pale pink and pale yellow – while the inside is always white. A simple design reminiscent of a circular house, an archetype of essential shapes that also work in combination with each other, in different heights and colours, to offer multiple lighting possibilities. Walking around New York means looking up, wanting to discover where the skyscrapers end. On his last trip to this city, Joan Gaspar looked around the rooftops of New York and there, seeing the water tanks, he found the shape for this new design. A unique element that forms part of the city’s skyline. Water tanks have been a sign of New York’s identity since the beginning of the 19th century, and not only are they still there, but, surprisingly enough, they are also still installed, performing the same function.

The difficulties of moulding wood are solved neatly with this collection: the ingenious combination of thin sheets of wood, paper and resins, compacted under high pressure, yields a lamp with an almost flat, understated appearance that use reflected to warmly illuminate spaces.The extensive Ginger collection includes numerous sizes of pendant, table (including the portable version), floor, and wall lamps, as well as a flush-mount version that can combined together in clusters of 2 to 3 fixtures, connected via an accessory to a single outlet box.
