Grande Costanza Open Air Suspension

The Grande Costanza Open Air suspension lamp, thanks to its enveloping glow and timeless classic design, adds a touch of elegance and refinement to outdoor spaces like terraces and gazebos, fitting perfectly into both public and private contexts. The suspension version has a thin polycarbonate diffuser (diameter 50 and 70 cm), and an IP65 optical housing connected to the shade by three small rods.

Flia

The Flia family of outdoor floor lamps stands out for its ability to combine technological aspects with rigorous expressive forms. The miniaturization of the light source is a key factor of the project. The carbon stem is supported by a cylinder that contains the core elements and grants the lamp strength, lightness and flexibility. Flia is available in a single configuration – with three different heights – or multiples – with 2 or 3 stems – and can be attached to floors and decks, or directly on the ground.

Fienile outdoor

Fienile is also available in floor lamp versions for outdoor use, based on the same design inspired by the iconic rural buildings of Norway. Fienile Outdoor is a work of micro-architecture, with its walls and pitched roof extruded in a single, solid block of coated aluminium, while the diffuser is in polycarbonate. The outdoor version of Fienile comes in two heights, 32 or 72 cm, and two colors: pale and dark gray. Thanks to its essential design, Fienile Outdoor fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape and architectural context. The characteristic angled roof, besides being a clear reference to the archetypal form of the house, contributes to screen the light and spread it uniformly on the ground.

Trypta is a system of suspension lamps that offers a combination of acoustic features and lighting performance in various dimensions and colors. The cylindrical aluminum body is equipped with two LED sources to provide both direct and indirect diffused light.

Lightweight and versatile, this lamp can change color without altering white light emission thanks to a pair of polycarbonate filters. The arrangement of the aluminium ribs reflects light and conceals the bulb inside a transparent, surprising shape. The spherical counterweight permits height adjustment.

Stochastic

Composed of glass spheres at different heights, Stochastic takes on infinite combinations in a sort of controlled freedom: each sphere is connected to small steel rods of different lengths that can be attached to the structure according to your own creative impulses. The light source – a double high-efficiency LED module – is enclosed in the spheres, generating warm indirect light aimed upward and downward.

Soleil Noir

Mesh wireless

The wireless version of Mesh offer users total freedom of lighting control. Available for the suspension versions large (Ø 100) and medium (Ø 80), Mesh Wireless is equipped with a sophisticated electronic board allowing users to interact with the lamp by means of a smart device. Luceplan has developed a special App (for iOS and Android) that makes it possible to control single or multiple units, individually or as a group. The Mesh App permits use of one or more light points at a time, orienting light in space to create different moods and experiences. The App can be programmed with 6 presets for rapid activation. It is also possible to set up a dynamic scenario with a simple touch of the screen. Using a local Internet connection, on-off functions can be programmed in remote access mode.

Along with the high-tech lighting engineering performance which distinguishes it, Koinè enjoys yet another innovative element in the sound-absorbing version. The reflector is a felt cap (60% recycled) which not only has an important decorative role, but also allows increased acoustic comfort in the vicinity by reducing the time of sound reverberation. An aluminium portion inside covers the surfaces and contributes on one hand to holding the felt in place, and on the other hand to dispersing the heat of the light source.

Fienile

The suspension version of Fienile is made in a single size for the roof, whose lower portion contains a homogeneous light source for high performance without glare. The lamp provides light directed upward and downward, thanks to great freedom of movement, permitting rotation of 360 degrees. It is possible to connect up to four suspension lamps (for Europe version) or two suspension lamp (for Americas version) with a single power cord, conserving the rotation of each unit.

Farel

For the first time in the Luceplan catalogue, Farel introduces an iconic dome structure, a neutral geometric form proposed in sound-absorbing thermoformed material with outer fabric cladding. The lamp can be personalized thanks to a combination of colors of the shade, ranging through cool, warm and neutral tones for the outside, combined with dark or pale hues for the inside.

The design language of Daniel Rybakken returns to its reliance on the intrinsic power of basic geometric forms, turning this time to the symbol of harmony par excellence: the circle. An extension of the Compendium family, Circle is a lamp with a poetic nature and an essential design, whose lightness is sustained by LED technology, installed to permit direct emission when pointed downward, or diffused light when aimed upward. It is also possible to combine up to three rings of different diameters to give rise to different configurations and luminous scenarios of great visual impact.

Amisol

The Amisol project is about making a pendant light that occupies a large physical space with a minimal physical volume, for easy orientation in space. A translucent white fi lm or a metallized mirror membrane is stretched inside a circular aluminium profile. Like a solar sail, an incredibly powerful light source projects a beam of light onto the large, almost weightless disk, either diffusing or reflecting the light. Thin rods connect the two main elements together. By altering the length and the connecting points of the two supporting wires the rotation of the disk can be set in any angle.

Across is a versatile and dynamic lamp, ready to personalize any space, “crossing” it with a clear, distinctive graphic gesture. A linear suspension lamp composed of three interconnected axes of two different sizes, to create compositions with different images and levels of complexity. The structure is formed by a horizontal extruded body that contains an optical group for direct lighting, and two hinged elements that make it possible to attach the lamp to the wall or the ceiling. The lamp’s adaptability gives rise to various configurations to respond to different technical and stylistic needs.

Millimetro

Halfway between a pendant and a ceiling lamp, Millimetro is composed of a very thin reflecting circular disk (1 mm thickness) and warm, enveloping light directed upward from below. The upper cap is attached to a stem that supports the metal disk with a mirror finish. The LED light source, concealed behind the disk, provides a diffused, uniform glow. To respond to various installation requirements, it is possible to choose from four different lengths for the stem that connects the body of the lamp to the ceiling attachment.

FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colours recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridiscently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering greater concentration of the light.
