Ceramics is traditionally regarded as delicate, yet with Crockery Chairs, designer Max Lamb and 1882 Ltd. challenge this assumption, treating material pressure points as opportunities for innovation rather than constraints. The process begins with Lamb hand-sculpting each form in plaster, which then serves as the master model for 1882 Ltd.’s potters to reproduce through traditional slip-casting. This meticulous, time-intensive method demands weeks of controlled drying, expert handling, and carefully calibrated firing, each stage determining the final form and colour, and leaving little room for error. Crockery is both a feat of innovative production and an evolution of a long-standing creative dialogue, showcasing 1882 Ltd.’s technical mastery and Lamb’s material experimentation as they push ceramics beyond its presumed limits.

1882 Ltd.'s first scented candle collection celebrates our differences, highlighting the brilliance of design and making expertise that is synonymous with 1882 Ltd. Poured into a bone china vessel designed with Bethan Gray and hand finished with 22-carat gold, the Lustre candle is perfumed with our Signature Fragrance – a heady combination of Sandalwood and Amber balancing aromatic spice and warmth with earthy florals. Once the candle has been burnt there is a beautiful object that remains to be enjoyed. Burn time approx. 35 - 40 hours.

Indigo Storm, a new interpretation of traditional creamware forms, draws upon the chance patterns created when pigment added to the slip coating does not fully blend. Representing a streamlined take on our ceramic heritage, the fine earthenware employs the familiar tones of English Delftware: cream offset with a rich, deep blue.

Low voltage 48V (16A) track with a perimeter surface frame (Frame version). Designed to house dedicated lighting elements fitted with a specific 48V adapter. Made of painted extruded aluminium, it includes a series of assembly plates designed to allow profiles to be installed in false ceilings with different thicknesses. The integrated circuit, designed to interact with the DC/DC driver included in the adapters or products, allows the lighting elements inserted in the track to be programmed individually. To obtain continuous lines, direct and corner joints are available with separate codes. A sealing sheath is included that is positioned flush with the track opening to guarantee a clean cut and protection from scrap/dust.
