The 3107 has slim yet strong steel-tubed legs that complement the shell’s curved profile. Legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, allowing chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage. The base/legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design.

The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

Inspired by the city cars that casually scoot around the streets of Milan, such as the famous Fiat 500, the Peg Chair by Nendo has rounded contours and the back legs in solid ash wood perforate both sides of the backrest. Despite its compact dimensions, the chair’s design provides optimal back support and ideal comfort. The ash wood frame of the Peg chair comes with a bleached, oak-stained, wengé-stained or black-stained finish; the upholstery is fixed and available in the leathers from the collection and a variety of fabrics, and the seat and back rest can be mixed and matched as desired from amongst the selected fabrics and leathers.

The jubilee version revives this original expression of the Georg stool in a novel way, equipped with a rare cushion made of natural leather from Sørensen Leather. The cushion is attached with a dainty braided leather strap, while the stool itself is created in FSC-certified untreated oak, known for its clear, light grains and sturdiness.
