The 3107 has slim yet strong steel-tubed legs that complement the shell’s curved profile. Legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, allowing chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage. The base/legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design.

The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

Equally bold and essential, the Fronzoni ’64 armchair is defined by straight lines, square angles and a decidedly minimalist edge. For this piece, designer AG Fronzoni created a wide and accommodating seat, paired with a backrest that is incredibly comfortable, even during extended use. Selandia Cushions are custom-made to fit the Selandia collection with strings to keep the weatherproof cushion in place. Exceptionally quick drying thanks to an open-cell structure foam that allows water and air to pass through, the cushion retains a firm and comfortable feel year after year. The upholstery is Oeko-Tex® certified and extremely colourfast and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and mildew-resistant. Please note that a different version is available to meet the fire regulations in the UK market. These cushions are upholstered with FR cold foam, which is not weather resistant.
