In Maillage, the designer engages with flatweave technique, imagining the surface as a geometric embroidery in which squares woven in opposite directions chase one another in a silent rhythm. Her ability to elevate the material emerges in the intuition of a special yarn, created by blending three different hues: a mélanged effect that, through delicate chiaroscuro transitions, softens the severity of the geometry, revealing a pictorial surface that subtly transforms as the light changes.
