Numeri Primi – Tre By Elisa Ossino Ivory Elisa Ossino designed “Numeri Primi,” the new collection of rugs for Amini, born from research on natural materials and exploration of ancient weaving and braiding techniques. Like prime numbers, each carpet constitutes a unique work of art, born from an unrepeatable creative process, which takes shape from the dialogue between the richness of the natural world and the skill of the weavers, expressed through knowledge that has been handed down over time, until it is reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Protagonists of the new collection are threads woven with organic materials: cotton, wool, hemp, silk and vegetable fibers. The colors, inspired by earth, wood and stone tones, are obtained using natural dyes and environmentally friendly processes. From sand to slate gray to brown, they create environments with a strong connection to nature. The research on weaves delves into the potential of natural materials, exploring lcharacteristics and more sustainable uses.

RD Halong Yellow The research started some time ago by Amini n the theme of the reinterpretation of the Berber rug in a contemporary key is enriched by a new product. The RD Halong rug presents as a combination of graphic elements and surface textures translated into a calibrated design, made of juxtapositions of full and empty spaces. The play of contrasts between depth and background of the high pile alternates with the design of the contrasting lines. The total chromatic effect, from the soft tones of the natural wool, are emphasized by the brilliant embroidery in colours of Oriental spices.

Contos de foghile – Barace Ivory In the collection Contos de foghile (a Sardinian expression that means “fireside tales”), the colors are the classic traditional ones, iconic to the Marras maison: ecru, black and burgundy. The motifs are also a revival of traditional designs, brought up to date in order to bring memory into the present-day. In the carpets Semestene and Barace they have been placed within concentric frames, to emphasize the harmonious contrast between decoration and rigor. The workmanship, which draws its inspiration from the pibiones grain weaving technique typical of Sardinian culture, reflects the values of the most authentic craftsmanship.

Ciclopi – Roccia Neve Born from refined and meticulous research on raw materials and the world of colour, comes a new collection of rugs in organic wool. The material composition and the natural dyeing method are the authentic protagonists of a collection that pays particular attention to the theme of the environmental impact. The result of this meticulous research has given life to Ciclopi collection, designed by Elisa Ossino. The collection consists of a series of larger rugs, with rounded and soft forms, and a line of smaller rugs to be overlaid to create extemporaneous solutions that redesign the way space is experienced, giving life to many uses: from seating to headrest or support. The colour palette is conceived in natural tones. The design of a circle inscribed within the irregular figure of the rug has suggested the formal recollection of the eye of the cyclops, inspiring the name of the collection.
