Elements, Strato Rust Earth connects and separates forms of life. Mountain ranges have long acted as natural borders between cultures, while shaping architectural responses to landscape — earth sustains us, offering orientation, stability and a sense of belonging. The Strato rug traces this depth through the layered geology of terracotta, sand and stone colors drawn from the sedimentary record, each stratum a different shade of time.

Elements, Flamma Yellow Fire marked a decisive turning point in human history. It enabled cooking and warmth, extending the day and transforming social life. For centuries, it has also been used consciously in agriculture, reshaping landscapes through controlled cycles. The Flamma rug moves through a dynamic composition of gradients and vivid bursts of light — embodying warmth, intensity, and the dual nature of fire as both elemental force and sacred symbol.

Its presence defines entire civilisations nowhere more evident than in Mediterranean culture, where proximity to the sea has shaped patterns of settlement, exchange and material culture. The Aqua rug captures its depth, fluidity and rhythm through a color gradient brought to life by finer, brighter lines that echo the sparkle of light on water, the hand-knotted texture evoking the gentle movement of surface waves.

Elements, Aeris Ivory Air is the invisible condition of life. Generated through the earth’s rotation, temperature shifts and ocean currents, it circulates energy across the planet. It transports pollen, nutrients and microorganisms connecting distant ecosystems in subtle yet essential ways. The Aeris rug draws from the image of the atmosphere seen from space that fragile, luminous line hugging the Earth, bright and golden when caught by the rising sun a reminder of how thin and precarious the layer that allows life to breathe truly is.

Maillage Brown Pink Elisa Ossino explores the essence of weaving through an analytical approach, transforming the primordial interlacing of threads into a sophisticated narrative of modernist purity. In Maillage, the designer engages with flatweave technique, imagining the surface as a geometric embroidery in which squares woven in opposite directions chase one another in a silent rhythm. Her ability to elevate the material emerges in the intuition of a special yarn, created by blending three different hues: a mélanged effect that, through delicate chiaroscuro transitions, softens the severity of the geometry, revealing a pictorial surface that subtly transforms as the light changes.

Suspended works of art that, at first glance, suggest a specific function but, upon closer inspection, reveal their “uselessness” and challenge the logic of traditional design. The eponymous collection presented by Amini includes three color variants representing frames of the same rotating Macchina Inutile, narrating a moment of its kinetic nature: the slow evolution of these abstract geometric figures, even with a breath of wind, thus comes to life in carpets expertly hand-knotted with precious wool and silk. The colors – yellow, pink, gray, red, and blue – are taken directly from Munari’s visual universe, to deliver a work that is both a citation and a reinterpretation.

The result is a play of overlaps that recalls Rodolfo Dordoni’s typical geometric rigour, enhanced here by a dynamic composition. The design originates from the warp, while the weft remains almost hidden – visible only at the sides – adding depth and mystery to the entire composition.
