Maillage Brown Pink Elisa Ossino explores the essence of weaving through an analytical approach, transforming the primordial interlacing of threads into a sophisticated narrative of modernist purity. In Maillage, the designer engages with flatweave technique, imagining the surface as a geometric embroidery in which squares woven in opposite directions chase one another in a silent rhythm. Her ability to elevate the material emerges in the intuition of a special yarn, created by blending three different hues: a mélanged effect that, through delicate chiaroscuro transitions, softens the severity of the geometry, revealing a pictorial surface that subtly transforms as the light changes.

Viaggio nella Fantasia – Skyscrapers and the moon Beige Viaggio nella Fantasia/Flight of Fancy is part of the Block Notes series, created by Munari for Corraini in 1992: a free collection of projects with creative implications. It is a collection of ideas and examples of artistic work as input for everyone’s “intellectual play”, recognizable by its gray covers, pocket size, and the holes in the cover, which encourage the reader to “peek inside” the book. Amini particularly focuses on the dot project, conceived as an invitation to a free creative play that can lead to potentially endless compositional patterns. Evoking Munari’s creative freedom and his ability to stimulate imagination, all the carpets in this collection are made from hand-knotted Tibetan wool.

Romantica – Circle

Romantica – Circle Positive Colour is form and form is colour in this collection that offers six carpets based on Panton’s colour series and the pure geometries of the circle, square, and wave. The Romatica rugs are hand knotted with a slight shag high pile using prime quality New Zealand wool. Square and round carpets, with a motif of concentric frames, are also available in the variant with the inverted colour series. The wave carpets, in two formats, stand out with a purple background.

RD Twist Basil Green Curves and movement: Twist is the result of a journey parallel to the rigorous geometric research that Rodolfo Dordoni has deepened with Amini over time. The sinuous patterns of the carpets are enriched by the interplay of chromatic planes, which infuse depth into the design. The foreground fillings stand out thanks to the sheen of silk and the higher pile, which lends them a delicate softness compared to the background.

Domino – Circle Circle positive Starting from a project developed in 1974, the collection presents ten square modules of identical size (60×60 cm) defined by as many geometric patterns, in the eight colours of Panton’s colour series. Circles, squares, waves, stripes, quarters of a circle, and quarters of a square, made of precious wool and hand-tufted, are suitable for being freely composed to give life to the most varied patterns. The modules are perfectly suited to decorate not only floors, but also walls, and they can furthermore be used to optimize the acoustic qualities of a space.

Tapipardo Multi Originally created on a semi-mechanical loom, the pure wool rugs revisited by Amini are hand knotted and feature a two-level carved pile. The collection is characterised by four different animal subjects: the leopard, Tapipardo, with orange colour on a blue background; the lion, Tapileo, in ochre colour on a yellow background; the bear, Tapiorso, in white on an ivory background; the dragon, Tapidrago, in green on a white background.

Jean Ivory Black and white organic shapes impressed in a delicate, irrational order. Jean carpets, designed by the communication and design studio Juma, are inspired by the earth and its natural elements.
