Our Allée ADA Sconce brings the beauty of bent plywood to lighting with an ADA-compliant design that gently washes the wall with light. Available in birch and walnut. A favorite of architects, plywood is valued for its warmth, simplicity, and sustainability. Once considered an industrial material used in boats and aircraft, designers in the 1920s began bending plywood into sculptural forms. She was the daughter of an Indian father and an American mother. Under the codename Madeleine, she was sent from the UK into occupied France to aid the French Resistance. Baker died in 1975 and received military honors and tributes from the entire artistic community in France.

Fiercely independent, Hetty worked alone from her modest desk in a Manhattan bank, value investing and making low-rate loans with her personal reserves of cash, helping bail out Wall Street, New York City, and the United States economy in times of need. While she was modest and unwilling to participate in New York City high society, those who knew her admired her warmth, wisdom, and wit.

Variations and imperfections in the concrete base are inherent in its artisan production.  Namesake: Muriel Wylie "Capi" Blanchet (1891-1961) was a Canadian author best known for her seminal Northwest boating memoir The Curve of Time. In 1926, when Blanchet was widowed at the age of thirty-five, she packed her five young children into a twenty-five-foot boat and they cruised the ragged, wild, perforated coastline of British Columbia for fifteen consecutive summers.

Paralela

Paralela, a modular system designed by the Spanish Nahtrang Studio, stemmed from a quest to lend shape to light so that the light itself becomes a tangible decorative luminous element. Hence the idea of creating light-filled borosilicate glass cylinders – joined to one another by Nylon PA12 connectors – that use gravity to occupy space in an orderly manner, entering into a visual dialog that becomes a symphony of light. This is a complete and new product family, available in both horizontal and vertical pendant version, table lamp, floor lamp and sconce, in different sizes and five colors.

The height-adjustable 3131 swivel chair features an elevated five-legged steel base with high-quality aluminium capped castors, originally designed by Jørgen Rasmussen in 1965 for the KEVI chair.
