She was the daughter of an Indian father and an American mother. Under the codename Madeleine, she was sent from the UK into occupied France to aid the French Resistance. Variations and imperfections in the concrete base are inherent in its artisan production.  Namesake: Muriel Wylie "Capi" Blanchet (1891-1961) was a Canadian author best known for her seminal Northwest boating memoir The Curve of Time. In 1926, when Blanchet was widowed at the age of thirty-five, she packed her five young children into a twenty-five-foot boat and they cruised the ragged, wild, perforated coastline of British Columbia for fifteen consecutive summers.

A family of lamps: suspended, for a coffee table and with a metal structure, and the most recent floor version of the lamp is available in two heights: 130 and 160 cm. The distinctive trait is the shape of the slightly elliptical transparent diffuser, which is characterised by a multi-faceted surface, both inside and out, which creates a rich tapestry of reflections.

Named after the famed and pioneering French author known simply as ‘Colette’, &Tradition’s new table lamp has an avant-garde aesthetic. Showcasing a tactile shade and base, this dimmable lamp is elegant, fresh and playful.

Table lamp with adjustable head. Integrated LED bulb and cut-off providing direct lighting . Body made of a special pigmented polycarbonate deriving from a by-product of paper production rather than from petroleum. Adjustability through steel sphere treated with protective layer deposited in PVD. Useful length of the cable 2 mt. The cable can be adjusted and locked in place through a special slit in the base of the lamp. The product has been designed according to the ISCC standards and it is assembled with total absence of glued components so that it can be completely separated for future recyclability.
